I got my media attention to go up.

I used rubber bands to hold the fire button down while using rockets. I fired almost 6000 rockets back to back, and low and behold it went up almost 1000 points in about 3 hours.

I think dodge the viper said something about using rockets to make the MA go up.

I wonder why it went up when i used rubberbands, but no when i was actually doing the firing?

Actually i was on the second floor of sunshine autos, firing at the water plant across the street.

if you stand by the tree in the southeastern most part of the backyard of the mansion (by a tree) and fire rockets towards the house, people will keep spawning there.. i fired lots and lots of rockets there, as well as destroying everything else and got my media attention up to 3637.. a lot better than 2103

hmm... i'm starting to think there is some correlation between kg of explosives used and media attention? i am just firing lots and lots of rockets at a wall and so far it has gone up to 4808 in about 20 minutes

well i dont know now... after about an hour more of the same thing, it only went up to 4998.. haven't been able to raise it since then... maybe it didn't work as well for space because i was killing helicopters and people while shooting the rockets.... who knows

Maybe the M4 could also do some good...I have a feeling it has something to do with explosions and lots of bullets.

the m4 is the one you buy from phil, right? i used that a lot at first, along with molotov coctails to blow up tanks, everyonce once in a while switcing from the m4 to the rocket launcher and it didn't go up nearly as fast as just shooting at a wall where people span and occasionally shooting down a helicopter.. although i still have no idea how the media attention actually works...

No, the M4 is an assulat rifle that the army carries, the M60 is the machine gun you buy from phils

Try differing your location, maybe that will help.

how much do you think that has brought your CR down? i think it goes down 1 point everytime you buy a weapon/ammo

I never noticed what difference it made. Every time I passed by Phil's or AmmuNation I'd just buy dozens of expensive weapons.
I was buying stuff in between blasting Haitians so I never noticed the difference it made to my CR.

I managed to get my Media Attention rating to 4738. I stood on the upper floor of Sunshine Autos and just blasted every vehicle that came by. Eventually I got to six stars and a tank stopped just outside the building. I killed the two soldiers who got out and spent twenty minutes blasting the tank with about 3000 rockets. For some reason, despite the fact that I was at six stars, no more cops, FBI or soldiers came by. I just got bored eventually and quit. It was only crawling up by then.
