I Got My New Laptop/notebook!

WEll I finally went out and bought one...I decided to get the Toshiba A25-S3072 with a 60 gig hd, 3.06 GHz pentium 4 processor, compatible with 802.11a and b. with it I got a case,Wireless network kit for my house so I can go online wirelessly from my house, with 128 bit encryption of course! 15" screen,DVD-CDRW,wireless mouse,a printer,and an extra battery all for 2,100 bucks but I get 250 back in rebates, 80 store credit, and i get rebates on the WAP and printer so they are free!

I just got mine for college. Its an Alienware case, but not quite the same internals. Im runnin a 3.06 P4, 1024mb DDiNN RAMM, DVD-RW, CD-RW, 80GB HDD, Radeon 9000 Vid card, 10/100 ethernet card.

I have the 3.06 P4 but opted out for the DVD-RW since I can already burn DVD's to regular cds and still maintain excellent quality. I also needed the wireless capability which alienware doesn't offer....plus with the 3Ghtz processor and a DVD-RW your battery life goes to crap but other than that it's a great machine.

Oh man I love it. I don't use my tower anymore. I don't have it wireless yet, still need to get the router. But I just got a wired one so I'm not spending any more money on that right now.

aww jeez, dont get me started..its been one disaster after another...it cost me £1400 3 years a go and its never worked properly since the day i got it...its out of warranty now and its totally fcuked....its a p3 1000MHz...14.1 lcd dvd/cdrw etc...top of the range in its day...now all its good for is as a paperweight....
