I had a very strange glitch last night.

I usually play GT2 in my bedroom on my PS1, but last night, I took the game and the save card and loaded them into my PS2 in the living room to play. Afterwards, when I loaded everything back into my PS1, all my cars were stuck in reverse. It didn't matter which car I drove, if it was modified or not, or if I selected automatic or manual, they were all stuck in reverse, and there was nothing I could do to fix it. Not only that, but the engines would rev on their own. After about 10 or 15 seconds, the engine would finally stop revving, but when it dropped to idle, it would start revving and do it all over again. Otherwise, the game would obey me. I could brake and steer, and I could navigate around the game just fine. I restarted, I tried different cars, I switched between digital and analog on my dual shock controller, I tried different controllers, but nothing worked. Finally, I loaded the save game card into the second port, and it played fine.

That's an interesting glitch. At one point I had one where the first car in my garage (a Pennzoil Skyline) was corrupted. It "had" 10,000 horsepower but would not move forward if entered in a race, and wouldn't steer. A red light (supposedly the distorted red gauge arrow) flashes towards the four corners of the screen. Same with replays.
The saddest bug is the one that erases your garage after a 1000 meter test. :( It's done it to me twice, wiping out 100 cars total. All I was left with is the car I was last using (An LM Atlantique) and $22000. The car did not exist in my garage, of course, but I could race with it nonetheless. The second time this happened, the car I was using was deleted as well, so I had a 'No Name' vehicle. When I tried racing it, the suspension settings were very weird, like all over the place, corrupted. he game froze shortly afterward. If you even see a strange blank score (with time) on the 1000m test, check to see that all your cars are present before saving. I have buggy Version 1.0, by the way.
Someone claims to have had a 'chirping' Viper in GT1. Like, birds chirping. :dunce:
