I just went from C1616 to C1566 because of a loading bug

I qualified first in a Cayman GT4 MR at Watkins Glen GP. After qualifying everyone in the lobby clicked the ready button. Shortly after everyone appeared to be ready some of the "ready" check marks disappeared. This lasted for about 5 seconds after which I was loaded onto the grid in last place. Not only that but everyone already started while for me my grid lights weren't green yet. I "jumped the start" because I didn't want to miss out on the action but got a drive through penalty because of it. So my race was ruined, left the lobby, only to find out my rating went from C1616 to C1566. Take a look:

I hope these screenshots add the necessary evidence to my story. As you'll be able to tell, in the second screenshot my current rating sits at C1566 while my racing history shows it was C1616 only moments before.

No, you lost 50 points because you quit the lobby. Quitters get heavily penalised. Have a read in the Competitive Racing License thread where all these quirks are explained. I have so far lost about 250 points just through disconnection issues so you are by far not the only one that is suffering.

This Beta version game online is very badly broken so you do have my sympathy. *IF* you wish to avoid further issues do not go online until there is the next update and only then if others assure you SMS have addressed these issues. If you chose to go online before hand you license *WILL* suffer. Your choice.

Not sure why this needed it's own thread. There is already a thread for dicussing the competitive racing licence.

That's not entirely clear yet. For the moment I'm going with the theory that first you get hit with losing against everybody else still in, then there's an extra penalty for quitting. From the ratings in that race, it would have really hurt to be last even without quitting and its penalty.

What would this world come to if it wasn't for you two fine gents.
No need to get so Vindictive
I get your frustration & I'm not trying to me a mini mod, but lately there seems to be more threads created about a specific complaint when there are already existing threads for such issues. Would it really be so hard to post in them instead or do you think your specific issue deserves special attention?

The problem is that massive, monolithic, catch-all threads get very unorganized themselves. For a game this buggy, glitchy, and poor performing, just one generic "bug" thread isn't really enough. Each bug and issue should really have its own thread, with a detailed title, to aid people when they're using the search feature.

They should not punish people for losing. Just reward people for winning.

So basicly you're suggesting a system where how often you lose doesn't matter.. whichbin term will just show how many times one has won the race? Or am I missing something? Also wouldn't this deflate the driverrating? In just a few months beeing C2000 would mean you beeing complete garbage while now it oeasn you drive well...

Of coarse I could misunderstand you.

Problem is every persons problem is getting a thread. Not every problem which means like 5 threads for every issue....
