I Kind of Like the Ads

The other day I saw an ad for Domino's pizza, and what did I do? I ordered one. It was good. Hopefully this Cadillac SRX I just bought will be as good as the pizza.

One thing the ads won't convince me to do is actually click them. Sorry Jordan... I'm just going to sit here and enjoy my broke status with all the pretty colors and flashy lights. Mmm, and pizza.

Check this out, 10% off my car insurance when I switch to Allstate?! Why didn't anybody tell me about this earlier? I love ads! See, now I can effectively get my pizza money back by switching to Allstate and it'll be like I never spent a dime. If I had bought Premium again the logic would have been that the lack of ads saves me money by avoiding temptation. But obviously that logic isn't correct, because I just got pizza and car insurance for free, whereas if I had bought Premium I'd have spent $50, kept Progressive, and wouldn't have enjoyed this pizza. I wonder...

Jordan, I'm onto your scheme. Better watch out.

EDIT: Seriously though, the other day I paid a truck load for new glasses at Lenscrafters, and here I am now reading an ad for bestbuyeyeglasses. Up to 40% off, apparently. And they have my Ray-Bans! Man, I got screwed on this deal.

I have not. This is a legitimate epiphany. My brain is the enigma with which I've broken Jordan's secret code.

The only problem is I can't get to the Infield to see all the 🤬 in the 🤬 thread. Kinda miss it, but it was a bad habit that needed to be broken. It's like weening yourself off coffee or cigarettes; real men go cold turkey.

I could understand this thread if it was intended as some kind of parody. In fact, I was reading it as such and allowing it to stay open until I just read that last post. Now that I have reason to look at things differently, I've gone back over it half a dozen times and I still cannot make heads or tails of it.
