I've been a fan of racing games for a long time. The first racing game I really, really got into was Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP on the Sega Genesis.. While that game was primitive by today's standards, I felt it was leaps and bounds ahead of other console racing games during that generation.
Being a fan of racing games, I was one of the early adopters of the original Gran Turismo on PS1. Later, I "completed" Gran Turismo 2.. Then the games on PS2.
User of GT5: Prologue, anxiously awaiting GT5. I've been playing BLUR on my PS3 while I wait.
I'm not one of the "elite" racers, but I think I'm better-than-average @ driving games, and can hold my own.
