I love this car, I feel I can really drive it on the edge, perhaps this is a common sentiment, what I'd like to know, knowing next to nothing about turning, can I tune other cars, namely the Corvette Lm 09, to handle in a very similar way.Is there something unique to the way the Ft-1 is tuned that can translate to other cars, it seems to suit my driving style.

I've seen people actually complain about the Ft-1 being to hardly sprung. so can anyone shed some light on this.I'd love to know what I could do to get other cars behaving the same/ very similarly. Can any one of you tuners help me out? is the Toyota FT-1 considered an easy car to drive? I'd be greatly appreciate for any feedback/help.

Thanks in advance.

I have not spent much time in it to be honest, but if you would like, click the link in my signature for my garage. I have tuned the Corvettes and you can find them there to try and compare. Maybe you will like the FT-1 more, maybe not, but you can see how I approached the tune.

Or just go here

thanks for the reply, I'll definitely check out your tune, I've tried two other tunes for the Vetted, but it handles very different to the FT-1, think that's due to a philosophy on the tuners part on what to do to make a fast car, if you get what I mean.

Not that I don't think those tunes would be fast in the right hands, you know, a driver who suits that type of tune, but in the Ft-1, I can keep up with cars 100pp higher, I'm curious if people find the FT-1 fast or its my style.

There are differing thoughts in tuning, and different driving styles. If I remember correctly, it was fast but edgy and needed some adjustments. I did not try to tune it but, if it works for your driving style and is fast for you, then that is all that matters. A car that is fast for me, may not be for you. I learned this in the FITT Challenges as one tester will like my tune more than the next, one tester will be fast with it and the next a bit slower. If it works for you, enjoy it, that is all that matters.:)
