First off let me say im not new to drifting. In fact the drifting in gt5 is literately the number one reason I bought gt5 6 months ago in the first place. Today in the UCD I found a RWD r32 skyline and ,being the r32 fanboy I am, I scooped it up. I was so excited that I forgot it was a STANDARD car and realized how pixelated and unclean it looks and thats when I did something Ive never done. I bought a AWD r32 with the intention to turn it into a drift car. I know normally to make a awd car act like a rwd you have to mess with the torque sensoring differential but I also learned messing with the lsd effects sideways action. so far Ive been getting some pretty decent drifts in and it feels mostly like rwd with a hint of awd. I want to eliminate all the awd feeling so if you know how to do that please leave suggestions below

I got a tune for the Audi r8 and it feels like a rwd car.to make it feel like a rwd car,put the torque sensing diff at the front at its lowest and the suspension need to be stiffer at the rear then the front.front LSD very low and the rear very high.the weight balance at the rear need to be a lot higher then the front.all of this gonna make the car very loose when you give it some gas

I figured it would be a suspension issue. It felt like my car was understering like mad. Thanks for the help ill try it out and update you if it worked

Sport tires is too grippy to use when you drifting because you car gonna understeer more

Nah Sports Makes it more of a D1 drifter (high speed drifting) and you can use extreme toe to counter the understeer aswell as LSD setting

http://www.teamshmo.com/ I have a tune for that rear wheeled drive one you have and a R34 tune. I am sure the R34 tune will work pretty good on any other skyline as well. When it comes to getting side ways in a 4WD it is tough to tell how much of what you need to put without actually driving it. However torque spilt so it is 10/90 and add more to the rear LSD than the front. So maybe 10/15/5 for front and 40/50/20 for back. I have no idea if that will work for you, but more power is going to the back so you still want more LSD to be aimed at the back. You could set the fron to all 5 to make it as rear wheeled as possible, but putting numbers like I listed will just make it a tiny bit more control. What I feel is transmission and LSD are linked to each other and suspension. If you have a quick shifting transmission you may not need high LSD or reverse. All about finding that balance.

I've been converting all my 4wd's to "driftable" status, and although I haven't done an R32 specifically, I use exactly the same diff settings across all my cars for this purpose. Details of the tune can be found here.
I would also suggest playing around with power levels, as this not only gives you more control, but also lets the gearbox work better. By using the power reducer you can make sure that if you shift mid-corner it can still be within the power zone to enable you to sustain the drift, as the powerband will be spread further across the rev range. R32, I'd say 550bhp and above should work fine.

(Just to give you an idea of how they perform, I test using Indy Road Course, and am getting full lap scores of a minimum 25000 points, current record is just shy of 35000)

If you dont mind id really like to have the LSD settings for your tune

well i may aswell give you the whole tune, the base was off Shmo's R34 tune but ive edited it to be full throttle and only just spin out, works brilliant on east corse and tsukaba

LSD!!
Torque 5/42
Acell 5/50
Brakes 20/20 (dont really matter)
Torque split 10/90

Gears
Max 250 kph
Final 4.11
1st 3.559
2nd 2.730
3rd 2.123
4th 1.768
5th 1.415
6th 1.185

This is with max parts
it should have 650 bhp, 578 PP and 1245 Kgs of weight,
BUY ALL PART!!! WITH HIGH RPM TURBO

it should start the drift by it self, sometimes it might need some help so just tap the handbrake, and then 3/4 to full throttle to maintain the drift,
