On how to NOT start every online race in last place. The servers must hate me or something. :ouch: Any tips on how to start further up front?

Having a lower-grade car with lower PP is the key to starting higher up in the pack.

I remove 1pp from all my tunes because of this. So I'lll have ~749/750.

 You sound like me! When I seem to enter GTP races I tend to get place to the rear of the pack!

Drives you crazy when there is only a few racers and they start up top and your in last :ouch:

Nothing we can do mate, I dont think....

There is an advantage when starting in the rear, instead of being overtaken by 11 other cars in the first round you can try yourself to overtake the other 11 :D

Look on the bright side, if you're starting last then no one will punt you in the first corner

Ive noticed on when im on line even with the same car it sets you in random positions !!

Looks like its just one of those things !!

Random selection !

Hi GT3man.If your just joining races at random times, this will not help in where you get put on the grid.If your Joining races that have specific start times, like those on GTP,then its a good idea to push early,It may not put you at the front of the grid(some people use the pp setting for that). But it should put you somewhere in the middle,at least that was the case for me.I should point out though that this is not a sure fire way of getting put where you want on the grid, its just something that I found worked more often than not.You could always go the lower pp road,But that has its Disadvantages.

I usually hit the button right when the start time hits. As soon as the second hand hits the time, I push the button. :) My last race last night, having changed nothing, started me 8th in a 16 car field. The other three races I started last, or second to last.

Same here, mostly. 3 freinds and I tried to order ourselves on the grid, by starting in 5-second intervals. It worked, but 'others' were in between.

I think everybody who knows about scheduling starts with the second hand at 12 o'clock.
