Hello, I am in need of some help with GT4. I have had the game for about a year now and I am having some trouble getting through the GT4 World Championship in Professional Events. On every car that I own that I have tried my tires always wear out too soon and I thus fall back into last place. The car I have tried most to use for the Championship was Gillet Vertigo Race car. I have it souped up to the max, it HP is 1000 so its not a matter of not having enough power. I was wondering if any one out their might have any tips for me such as suspension adjustments so my tires will last longer.

Hi there, and welcome to :gtpflag:

This is one of the most commonly asked questions on the GT4 board, as it's without a doubt the toughest race series around.
Since there's already a lot of threads here about it, we prefer it if you'd keep your discussion going on in one of them, so I'm going to lock this one to new posts.
Don't take it personally though, it's just our way of keeping the boards in order and the information about certain events collected in one or 2 places instead of over 50 different threads. 👍

Here are some useful links that should help you out though:

52 lineups of the Gran Turismo World Championship - PAL VERSION - A really useful guide that should allow you to determine which lineup you'd like to face, Lineup 6 is the hardest one, and Lineup 10 is one of the easiest. In the NTSC version you have the Toyota GT-ONE Race Car (TS020) '98 and Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98 are reversed, so subsititute them as necessary as you read through the lineups.

This single post from Famine gives possibly the best tactical advice for this series.

need help GT World Championship - There's 21 pages of discussion & advice here, so have a read and see what you can glean from that which'll help you out.

easy car to win with in the gran turismo championship - There's some additional highlighted links w.r.t. GTWC in this thread too.

This is also great advice, especially the very last sentence. - If you've been relying on overpowered cars to win races up until this point, then it's time to suck it up and learn to race properly as it's the only way to win here.

Enjoy your time here at :gtplanet: 👍 and feel free to ask more questions in one of these appropriate threads if you need more help. There's more GT4 experience in here than anywhere else and we're positive we can help you win this series.
