GT3 feels so slow when you are racing. But in gt2 it feels much faster and I like that. I want it to beat my own record on midfield in gt3 and it felt boring (I don't know why). But when I want to do same thing in gt2 I really want to do that beacuse it's funny (for some reason). I don't say gt2 is better then gt3 I just want it to say that I think that is gt2 is funnier (for some reason).

What do you think?

GT2's frame rate appears quite choppier than GT3's, for obvious reasons, especially when your driving slow cars. But when you're driving the faster stuff, the frame rate catches up to GT3 a little.

Too many GT3 cars drive the same, in my opinion. Checking out the GT2 used lots are still fun, looking for just the right rare car and odd color.

Knowing you can only choose 100 cars puts a different spin on things, compared to GT3, where you can have one of every car in your garage. You'd have to eat 6 bowls of Total...I mean, memory cards to get every car in the game.

You're not starving as much as in the beginning of GT3, in my opinion.

And the mere fact you can beat the best in the game by tuning an wagon, sedan, or compact car just right makes things sweetrer than GT3, which focuses almost completely on pure-bred sports and racing cars.

Making your own racing car. More fun than buying a ready-to-race car or prize car, in my opinion.

That's is what I mean. ;)
And that's why I "dislike" gt3 too.

I 'dislike' GT3 because it has wayyyy to little cars.
And some of the races are a pain in the ass. Imagine 30laps x 10 times.

the framerate remains exactly the same no matter how fast you're going. The fact that GT3 runs at a much higher framerate can make it feel slower as you can react much more smoothly, where as in GT2 your brain is always struggling a little with the latency between this fram and the next. the camera lens you use can affect the sense of speed too. a wide lens will always give more sense of speed then a very narrow lens

One thing I noticed about GT3, is how wide the tracks, and courses are, or seem, compared with GT2. Not having the car close to the edge of the track makes the car seem to drive slower.

You also have much better grip in GT2.
When you find the apex in,for example , first turn on Red Rock Valley,
it almost feels like the car is glued to the ground.
In GT3 on the other side, you would be awarded with a cousy understeer.
Understeer is the worst thing I can think of *shiver*

at least with oversteer you don't see the tree that kills you.
GT3 has some bogus physics going on. it feels more realistiv from the driver's seat, but when you look at GT2 replays they look more real, where GT3 the cars have a strange way of sliding about when they spin. grip levels in GT2 are more realistic imho.

I took the first turn on redrock valley between 250-300km/h whitout breaking or crash into the wall beacuse you got soo much grip, but in gt3 you can't even do that beacuse gt3 is more realistic and you must break in every turn beacuse you don't have much grip. And the grip levels in gt2 is not realistic at all.

there's no reason you can't take that turn at red rock valley at 250kays in an escudo. it has massive downforce at that speed and just tyres. having to break in every turn doesn't mean it's realistic.

Just bust the turn initial d style by bringing the left front tire or right front into the dirt and bam ur smacked in the face with oversteer with counter acts the understeer feeling like a perfect turn :)

'

yes , you can but you have to turn in the right moment.
