What's so wrong with it?

Since the closest thing in America to the skyline was the M30 and now the G35, I don't see a problem with doing that.

If we DO get the GT-R, though, then he's a poser. Or a loser. Or a wannabe 'ricer.' Or whatever.

If there is any justice in this world, the entire Assorted Plastic Crap company will explode and burn to the ground, then have its ashes bulldozed into a swamp.

If I never see another car with a fake Type R emblem/whatever on it again, I will be a very happy man.

in the past week I've seen a Santa Fe with a huge TRD sticker on it, a 323(like mine but the sedan version) with rims that stuck out 6 inches from the car(those ugly way offset rims that people think are cool on little cars), a huge Mazda "Key" emblem sticker covering the whole back window(which is wrong since it was a '88 and the emblem came out in '93), an Accord with Type R badges(it was a basemodel with a ground kit and a wing, but still had hub caps...), and(sorta off topic) a '88-'92 626 sedan with a broken rear shock assembly(and probably other problems in there) with the right rear wheel cambered at and angle of, I'd say just judging by GT3, 15, but it was parked, my bro was sadened but then wanted to buy it if it was for sale...

People are dumb...

Yep I gotta say that just ain't right :shakehead

A :ford: Mustang is a :ford: Mustang and A :nissan: Skyline is a :nissan: Skyline simple as that....

Do you see a lot of cross breeds in the :USA:?

ive never heard of someone doing that to a ford mustang. that guy is smoking crack. who would do that to a mustang? its already got the sweet pony emblems...you dont need a GTR emblem.

what a shame.

But Ferraris exist in America, so that would be stupid.

But we don't have GT-R's so I think it's okay for kids to 'lust.'

I think I shall put a Daewoo Logo on my eclipse. And then I'll put a huge Type R sticker on it and to top it off a rear bumped that says Saleen. I would be in

I'm kidding nobody take this seriously.

TRD on a Toyota is fine, but on a Hundia Sante Fe?! And the guy had a ton of stupid little auxilary mirrors....

No, I'm up in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm bringing a digi camera next time just in case I see that car, I'll get some other stupid cars on there also, that was just the worst of the worst.

Sorry, but this one is unbeatable.

The whole idea of "identity confusion" is so...fey. I don't know what else to call it. It looks asinine. What are these people trying to say with the bogus emblems and stickers? Think about it: The ones who don't know the difference don't care, and the ones who do, know that it's just garbage. Except, of course, for the few knuckleheads who think the pseudo-badging is chic anyway. That would be like Jeter saying to Williams "Check it out, I got a Mets jersey!"

They're not trying to prove that they've got a Skyline, they're just showing their unity and love of the Skyline - I definitely considered putting some sort of GT-R badging on my 3.5 SE before I had to sell it. In any case, the badge itself signifies knowledge of cars and it also tells what that person appreciates...why's a bumper sticker any different?

If you consider it a tribute, then I guess it's passable. But like bell-bottoms and plaid & stripes, it's a fad I'll never catch...and one I hope fades away.

That's actually illegal in the UK. Wheels may not stick out further than the arches when pointing straight ahead.
