Really though. I'm interested in what your reasons are for making this declaration. I want to get GT Sport, but I'm not as convinced as I was for GT5 and 6. They haven't announced a track maker. It's a big deal to me.

A track maker needs to be added I'm sure it will be hopefully but the game has a lot you can do offline like a single races, a lot of challenges, time trials, drift trials, split screen, campaign mode and dont forgot arcade mode! Hopefully we will see a track editor added to the game before release. I think campaign mode will be pretty long so thats good

That's what I don't get. We've received information about the offline career mode, and people believe that news of offline events will be the extent of it. I'm thinking they're sort of revamping the offline, single player side of GT based on the feedback they must have heard about the lackluster offline special events and career mode they thought was enough in a game work such a vast amount of content. I expect nothing short of a revamp of the offline events and single player mode in GTS.
I think a track maker is inevitable. It's one of those things where people say PD didn't announce it way back then at the Copper Box event, so nothing more will be announced in regards to GT Sport's features and content. As if everything must have been announced by now, because that is what gamers expect. Complete knowledge of the game's contents upfront, months ahead of a yet to be set release date. In my opinion, we have only seen half of what GT Sport will offer. I feel as though I'm being a little optimistic with the right idea or perspective on how this works.
Then, there's still the fact that PD with GT6 fell far short of expectations in regards to its offline features, special events and career mode.

When do you think this game will release I think they should releaee the game when its ready I'm sure we all want that!
Also, I'm hoping what your saying is true that the offline event and single player modes are getting revamped!

I've further edited my post. See more of what I wrote.
More staff and outsourcing being crucial to make future releases consistent. Three year development periods should be the goal. Outsourcing would help to add more events and such for the current game. Seasonal events, tournaments, unique prizes for participating, podium finishes. More innovative ideas to remain attractive.
And I gotta let you know to not double post. Combine your replies into one post. It was probably a mistake, I understand. When it's ready. . . I expect it to be no sooner than September and no later than December. Anything can happen, so the absolute latest can be March 2018. It's not like that will be unacceptable. If it takes that much longer, I think something will have to be forced upon the development team.

It's a must. GT and PD are better than what they did with GT6. It was underwhelming to say the least. I'll go as far as to say we didn't deserve to be treated with a brutally mediocre single player experience.

Is GT6 and GT5 single player that bad? what makes it so bad compared to other GT titles?

All the available evidence points to the exact opposite.
This is an online focused esport title.
GT6 - No actual races. It had AI that slowed down to let you win.
GT5 had experience and leveling and after a patch AI that gave up as soon as you got alongside.

To keep it simple and to the point, both games had pitifully short career modes compared to GT3 and GT4. And in GT6's case, no endurance races.

We can't say anything, the last update of the GTsport section was in May 2016. Either tracks and cars are not ready or they will change the so far ridiculous campaign mode. I still don't understand why we can't have both : a good online mode AND a huge and challenging campaign like on PS1 and PS2. They're getting lazy with the career mode (no challenging time trials/licence test, no endurances, no one-car championship because of a slow AI...) I hope to be wrong but something is broken at Poly since the PS3.
You say that like it's a bad thing? I'm miss the free cars.

On a more serious note I really wish that there were more events, bracketed like Gran Turismo 3 and 4 were. That's what's pushing me away... sort of. I have to have GT on my PS4. It's just not the same without it.
