Hey, I need help.
I have Gran Turismo 2 and I bought the '69 Camaro Z28 (and am still salivating).
I have the unlimited money code so i can do any mods to it. however, i don't know what to do. i just bought what I "thought" was the best stuff for the car. but now it goes all the way up to 112mph and doesnt go any faster. i will list what i have exactly as it says so on my screen and hopefully someone can tell me what i need to change so i can get the most out of this car.

specs.:

length(mm): 4724mm
width(mm): 1880mm
height(mm): 1298mm
weight(lbs): 3020lbs
displacement: 5735cc
drivetrain: fr
engine type: v8 OHV
max HP(rpm) 432hp/5100rpm
max torque(rpm): 469.4lb-ft/4600rpm

!EQUIPPED PARTS!:

Semi-Racing suspension kit
sports brakes
brake balance controller
racing medium tires
racing medium tires (listed twice on my screen)
full-racing transmission
triple plate clutch
racing flywheel
carbon driveshaft
performance chip
port & polish
engine balancing
NA tune-up stage 3
racing muffler
weight reduction stage 3

ok guys...what do i do? keep in mind i'm not 100% knowledgeable with this game.

you can pick a track and i'll take you with my Corvette Coupe.;)

you want supersoft tires and full racing suspension... For tuning, you can post a thread in the the GT2 Tuning forum.;)

I have no idea what has happened, but I noticed there was no turbos on that equipped parts list, so if you can, buy some turbos (stage 4 of course :D)

buy super soft tyres, full customised suspension, hard stabilisers and traction control.

adjust the brakes to 17 front and 15 rear.

ride height 10 mm off the lowest setting,

hardest setting for springs,

3 damper bound, 1 damper rebound,

0 camber on front and back

0 negative toe

stabiliser on max

auto set up for transmission on 15

set traction control to its max.

should be sweet for ya

alright, I'll make a list of the muscle cars that I like:

Shelby Cobra 427
Shelby Mustang GT500

And that Dodge one...Charger isn't it

oh ****

I just had a look at pics of both the Charger and Challenger.

The charger looks sooo **** but the challenger is sweeeet

What may have happened is that you have bought the Fully Customisable Gearbox, and left it on its default setting.
Before a race or machine test, go to Machine Settings, and then press L1 to go to parts settings. Look at the bottom slider on the gearbox screen.
If it is on a low number (10 or less) then you have found your problem. Just click on the slider, and press right or R1 to increase the maximum speed, but decrease the acceleration.
In future remember to adjust this slider constantly to adapt your car for different race tracks.
