There's one thing I hate the most and that is understeer. I love being able to go through a variety of corners nicely but not slow down to 50mph. Don't get me wrong, some of the tunes here are incredible; I really can see the effort some of you guys put into this still, and quite frankly I admire it and am really striving to be better at it. I read about it and try different setups but I just can't get it right, so this is my last resort. I'm not asking for a secret setup, but I just want to get pointed into the right direction on how to make my car oversteer rather than understeer.

Thank you in advance,
JA.

Tons of ways:

add front downforce...
lower your LSD initial torque...
stiffen your rear sway bar and/or lower your front...
give yourself more negative, front camber...
add a lil' negative toe-out in the front...

If you bring all your LSD settings down to the minimum and bring rear downforce down to minimum you'll have a good amount of oversteer.

I have a whole garage thread about tuning for the beginner. See the link below.

It depends on what drivetrain your car has: FF, FR, MR or AWD?

Also, when do you want oversteer - corner entry, midcorner, corner exit?

Interesting write-up Hami, but I found that your suspension setups were very similar for 4WD, FR, and MR cars.

I note which cars are 5 minute tunes for the non-tuners who just want something close and get to the driving. It's easy to see which cars I'm spending time with and the differences in approach to different drive trains.

I like to feel confident in the middle of the turn I can start to ease my way back on the accelerator and then come out of the turn smoothly, 100% on the accelerator.

Very nice write up man. I will deff dig deep into this for sure, thank you.

True Hami, I will read your guide to help me with the new Lamborghini Seasonals, I put up a thread in the subforum to ask about tune settings for Lambos, because the stock settings, or incorrect settings totally spoil the joy of attempting to drive these as they are meant to drive.

I did a research on oversteering stuff and I found this thread. Seems like there isn't much on this topic, I know how to make my cars oversteer but I would like to try some specific tunes, you know that sweet spot when the rear start loosing but yet enough grip to keep everything under control? Kinda drifting out from corners, but not a real drift just oversteering, do you know if there is a particular garage that tune their cars this way? Or do you know a couple of tunes like that? Thanks in advance.
