...:idea:buying an used PS2 from someone I know, to play GT4 in wait of GT5 full game. I'm kinda bored with GT5P after 5 months playing it. My PS3 doesn't read PS2 games and I've never had a PS2 but I have a DFP wheel.

Does it worth it?

GT4 has a different feel to it, honestly you might not like it. But if you're any sort of a car-lover, you will probably never, ever get bored. There's lots more cars & tracks in GT4 than in GT5P.

The car physics might feel a bit wacky to you at first, tho.

GT4 has a different feel to it, honestly you might not like it. But if you're any sort of a car-lover, you will probably never, ever get bored. There's lots more cars & tracks in GT4 than in gt5P.

The car physics might feel a bit wacky to you at first, tho.

I've played GT4 a long time ago with the pad so it must be a lot more fun with the DFP wheel
As a reference do the physics feel a bit like amateur physics in GT5P ?

Quite honestly GT5P feels more realistic with the vehicles more likely to experience wheelspin. The vehicles are more oversteery in GT5P, as they should be. Power oversteer and lift-throttle oversteer are much more noticeable in GT5P.

This isn't to say that GT4 isn't a fantastic game that offers hundreds, if not thousands of hours of enjoyment. Especially with the DFP... the wheels adds a whole different dimension to GT4.

odd, i have always felt the opposite iam currently replaying gt4 after getting frustrated last night by the cars in gt5p refusing to deviate from a straightline.
