"Dear Derek,
Thank you for participating in the Logitech Challenge event in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. We are pleased to inform you that for Week 1 of the challenge, you were randomly selected from all of the participants to win a prize. Congratulations, and thank you for supporting Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Logitech.
As a winner, we would like to award you with the prize package as outlined in the official contest rules. In order to claim your prize, you will need to fill out the attached affidavit, verifying your eligibility as a US resident and that you are over 18 years of age, and have it notarized. This means that you must sign the document in the presence of the notary public. You will need to send this back within 7 days of receipt of this email. You may fax it to us to get it in on time, but we will still require the original notarized version to be supplied by mail. If we do not hear back from you by the deadline, you will forfeit the prize and the next person in line will be selected to receive the prize. If you do not meet the eligibility requirements of the contest, as outlined in the contest rules, we cannot award you the prize, and it will be awarded to the next person in line."
I've never won anything like this before... and will continue in much the same manner since I live in Canada.
What a shame. I wish there was a way I could claim this prize, just to be able to say I randomly won something in a contest.
Good luck, one of you might be next in line for getting my come-uppins.
