Hi Tuners,

I have a dilema, I am stuck at this license and could need some help.

The issue is that I get either disqualified or land on 8th place (Failed to make the last license)

I am refering here the the last part of the license, the 2 lap race in Grand Valley Speedway.

Could anybody help me to get the right setting and strategy to overcome this hurdle please?

Thanks upfront to all the replies I might get here.

Hello,
Thank you for this question – because that is the easiest answer – EVER!
Here is the trick to get all Silver or with effort all Gold trophies!
It took me a while to get it but – yes – takes time!
Here is what you have to do with all trophy challenges (not always available in special events):
Use the “Example Modus” and change the view to the one where you will see the throttle and brake value. Let the “Example modus” run for several times and look up the throttle values for critical situations.
For me that was extremely helpful to get Gold for the Lambo M. in (I believe: Spain track around the plaza. I was astonished to figure when to apply the brakes here.
Also very helpful is the fact that to get Gold here and there you have to be off the racing line (e.g. Laguna Seca: C3 1969).
Do this – and you will see. But especially for those track events (last ones on each license) it takes several time (I guess 15 with me with the Lambo G.) The Lambo G is for me at least the best car to control. Look up the example and try it: No one can beat you once you get it!

One thing I learned in that test is to lean on the "fixed" driving aid they give you. You can disable TCS in that test but not skid recovery(on by default in that test), which is actually an advantage since you can pull off some impossible slide to slow the car down when you try to late brake into a turn, and with AWD it rockets the car out of corner quite easily.

Personally the most headache inducing "racing" test was the one with 512BB at Rome(silver so far, haven't gone back to gold it, it was mostly a track knowledge thing)and the Alfa 8C around Suzuka because you can't disable ASM and it saps power....tried it many times to get gold...

Thanks guys,

that is helpful, I have checked the Test where it shows the car from the outside, but have never thought to watch it where you can see the inside of it to check the gears and speeds.
I have made the bronce finally in the IA license but it was hard, I guess I will go back and check it again later down the road.

Thanks again for all the advise.
