Hej. Anyone got any tips for the licence part. I seem to be stuck on IB6. Not interested in cheating in anyway, just want to get past, but for some reason, can only get within 2 secs of bronze. Any tips please.....
Tack

Refresh our memory about which test this is...?

Its the one with the complex set of s turns on a flat circuit. You start in 2nd gear, car rolling and you have to , well you can't straight line them, so you have to sort of snake through them.

Ummm, which car? Which track? Help us out a little. My memory is good, but it's not that good, and I'm not firing up GT3 just to find out something you could tell me.

Thank you. You beat me to it. Down to within 1 sec, but still cant crack it. Tried it on manual gears, auto, only thing left is to try standing on my head.....
Started GT4, liked it so much, that it made me go and get GT3. Want to finish all of this before I go back to GT4. Thanks for your help.

Thank you. Without further ado, here is what I did in the first part of Time Trial 10, which is a full lap of the String in the RGT. This is from the start/finish line through the first slalom:

Duke
The first turn can be a solid foundation for a good run. I brake firmly about halfway between the first two brake markers, downshifting slowly rather than jamming the gears down. A little Scandinavian Flick while the car still has momentum and a goose in 2nd gear gets it rotated and ready to accelerate.

I hold third through the Slalom until the very end. The first right can be taken flat out; then immediately after each apex lift for just a fraction and start turning into the next curve before you complete the current one. The single cone at each curve marks the apex, and you want to brush the rumble strip just after this cone - but at that point, you should already be starting to steer into the next turn. If you're turning in at each cone you're too late. The last two are a little wonky and even though you'll be nudging the rev limiter, don't upshift to 4th until you apex the next-to-last cone (a right). Take the last one flat out in 4th and edge the grass on the right, but brake early for the exit 90 and get a hard late-apex in second gear. This gave me a T1 time in the 50.high" range IIRC.

If the license test does not include the first hairpin, then ignore the first paragraph. Hope this helps.

Practice Practice Practice Practice I am only a B grade driver & drive auto & have no problems bronzing this one , try IB7 as is the same run w/out driver assist .. I am stuck on S8 & I still have to find 4 seconds to bronze it :scared: [Finished had to use manual gears to stop wheels spinning ]

Watch the demo with the ghost car on to see where you are loosing ground .. If you are happy with bronze like me , use auto & no brakes just back off the go button & slide your car around & ride the red & white ripple strips . The licence tests only get harder & you must watch the demo runs..

Hope this helps.
Cheers Ozi

This one took me many tries too. Try it a few times. Do a race or two. Go back and try it a couple more times. Coming back to it seemed to work better than doing it over and over again and beating my head against a wall.

Thanks for all your help guys. I am sorry for not replying but I have been working. Will give it a try again next week.:)
