EDIT: Mod in question was "Daan". Yep, I just messed up an apology post. DAMN.

Hello folks.
Some of you may remember an obscene, rude, arrogant poster named "HARRISANDERSON".
I'd like to be open and honest; I am Harris.
When I first joined GTPlanet, I was around the age of 11. I didn't really understand the rules of forum-posting, and frankly I lacked maturity. I was often rude to others, and frequently became aggressive when differing opinions arose.
After a duplicate thread (created by me) was locked by "Daan", I created a thread in a blind rage in an attempt to look somewhat "cool" and "rebellious". I was subsequently banned from GTPlanet, an action which I fully understand and respect.
Thus, I'd like to fully apologise to Daan for creating such a stupid, senseless and hurtful thread, and to any other members of this fantastic community whom I may have offended in the past.
I am aware that creating a new account may be against the forum rules, but the need to apologise has been eating me up for a long time now. If a further ban is necessary, I fully understand.

Sincerely, Harris Anderson.

So you were banned and subsequently created a new account in order to circumvent said ban? If so I don't see this leading to a happy end, to be honest. Although it's always nice to see people feeling bad for their wrongdoing, for that matter. :)

Pretty much :/ (Well, the previous account WAS banned, not sure about it's status now since I forgot the login details, hence this new one.) I don't anticipate this account lasting very long either, but I just felt like I needed to say something.
Thanks :)

Much respect for apologizing. 👍

Well..
Generally, it's a case-by-case basis. There have been a few instances of returning banned members coming back with a very different attitude, and like Famine said, at that point, the original problem is no longer, er, a problem. Those that go down in a massive, obscenity-laced, smoldering pile of a banishment, rejoin immediately and continue the exact posting style that earned them the boot in the first place are likely never to stay.

Oh, there's also the times when folks make a new account after receiving a temporary ban, to circumvent it. Considering a comment about avoiding doing precisely that is almost always attached to the message announcing the temporary ban, that sort of ignoring tends not to work in a member's favour.

So, it's not always that returning banned members are banned again, and if you plan on staying, welcome to the forums. :)

Why thank you! Much appreciated :)
I am indeed planning on staying, so I guess I'll see you around :)

Good to see you realized your mistakes and have taken action to correct them. For that I give you a 👍

Shouldn't be on the internet posting on forums at 11 y/o honestly. I didn't have restricted access but I didn't dip my nose in until about age 15/16. Good job coming to realization.

Damn right! Just wish I'd realized at the time. I'm 15 now, and I'm better for it. :)

Everyone deserves that second chance if they are willing to change in my opinion, welcome to the forums 👍

So, you were 11 when you joined here in 2011, and you're now 15 in 2013. That's quite some growing up you've done there.

However, the d.o.b. you gave the site when you rejoined with this account, puts your age at 22... Is that because you're still under 13 and your real d.o.b. wouldn't be accepted?

So, I think you're still underage, and also, I don't forget.

Also, if folk wish to rejoin and stay under the radar, then the best thing they can do is to stay under the radar.
