Idea for GT5 and GT on the PSP!

Why dont PD link the games together? Have everything GT5 has on GT for teh psp, except, on the psp you cant buy cars, dont have as many tracks and can only store 200 cars in the home. This is to reduce the size of the game so it will fit on the UMD.

To buy cars, have all the tracks, and unlimited storage in the garage you hacve to link the PSP to the PS3 and transfer the cars you buy on the PS3 to teh PSP. When you play either on the PSp or the PS3, you have to connect and transfer what you ahev done on the other console.

E.G. you played on the PSP and won a championship, ypu want to go on the PS3 and countinue that game, you link the two up and load where you were up to on the PS3!

What do you think? Is it a good idea or am i mental?

I would like to buy cars on the PSP version, otherwise half of the game would be gone to me. For example the main reason I want to race and win is to earn enough money to get a better, faster car, to tune it etc.

I would like some link up with PSP and PS3, but just not in that way IMO.

you can buy cars but you have to link it up to the PS3, because ther would be no room on the UMD

...Being that GT4 on the PSP is the only way Sony could ever get me to buy the silliest handheld since the SEGA Gamegear, I suppose its a good idea.

But to me, I would rather have 200 or so of the best cars in GT4 on the PSP and not have to deal with the import/export of the models between it and the PS3 GT5... As of now, there is no way in hell I would ever buy a PS3...

remember...the PS3 has Bluetooth and WiFi, so you just come into the vicinity of your console and buy your cars.
