Idea for the new GT Academy/GT6 track.

**I’m not sure where else to put this, but being Academy related I’ll try here. It’s not a suggestion as much as “what does the community think/discussion”**

I see members talking about what new track, if any would be introduced to GT6 as part of the Academy. I've seen Interlagos mentioned a few times. I guess my thinking is, that would be great as part of the Senna content. I know anything is possible, but would it not make more sense to have Dubai Autodrome debut. We got Silverstone last year, which is where your training beings.

As Famine mentions here “It’s been the baptism of every GT Academy winner so far and the 2013 winners have got their careers off to a flyer in the 2014 Dubai 24 Hours”, why not get to experience what it’s like to race on the same track the GT Academy winners get to in their debut race. Do you think that’s possible or just a shot in the dark?

It would certainly make sense. It's a pretty fun track. Awesome surroundings. Bahrain would be nice too.

I don't think it would be Interlagos. I'm guessing that would come in May to coincide with Senna's passing. Should've been released in March to coincide with his birthday IMO, but this is PD we're talking about. I don't think it will be Dubai either. Despite its significance to GT Academy it's still a pretty obscure track. If you look at PD's roster of world circuits they are all pretty historically significant and famous tracks.

My best guess is they will release the massive Andalucia track/course maker alongside GT Academy special event on the 21st. It's a completely new track, not even people on PC sims would have practiced on it, so nobody would have any advantage. And since it's longer than the Nordschleife it's gonna be one hell of a challenge and separate the best from the rest.

Or PD could just disappoint us again and it will be Silverstone like last year. That seems to be the trend with their updates lately

there is a thread somewhere in the gt6 section, that almost positively concludeds that its the nurburgring. the evidence is pretty convincing. i would love some new tracks though.

It proves that Nürburgring is the background, anything could still happen with the tracks used to qualify. If there's a track added for Senna, I'd bet on that being used for the final round.

Yes, I've seen that thread. I started this a day BEFORE the picture/updated GT6 menu was released and just seeing what the community thought. We shall see what's in store.
