Idea: TT PMC Competition

I have this idea, how about a TT competition that has PMC rules?
If you have TT, you must do a TT shot, if you don't own TT you are allowed to use a GT4 shot, but no frauding.

This is just an idea, because i won't really be able to run it, but i think there is enough interest and if somebody wants to run it, much appreciated.

Also please vote the poll too.

People need more comps to choose from especially TT. there's only 1 TT comp going on right now.

Because I agree with atlop that there's alot of comps going on right now but, Ray, you a good point that there's only one TT comp for people. I don't think I'd want to run it entirely but I wouldn't mind helping Tommi out.👍

So I guess if someone is willing to do it, bring it on.

It's a good idea, but I believe there will not be a great deal of entries. Like atlop said, there are many other competitions running at the mement.

I'd LOVE to run a comp, but right now there are wayyyy too many comps to keep up with. Plus if I ran a comp, I wouldnt have time to do it...

I don't think it's a good idea. We already have a TT contest along with a LOT of other contests and it's difficult to keep up. I also don't think it will be very popular at all.

no, as interesting as it would be, no. i mean drop the gt4 aspect of the current TT/GT4 comp then alterinate the rules between pmc (brightness/contrast/gamma) and APMC (unlimited) like the current rally comp.

Well what stops people entering unedited pics in to the new comp (a good shot is a good shot, regardless of editing) or people choosing PMC rules as part of the theme occasionaly.

because everyone will vote for the picture that was blurred/smudged and raidal blurred even if the other picture has better composition.

Nothing, it just makes it a little harder to win when everyone else is using all the available weapons instead of just 2-3 select tools IMO.

How about changing it so that with the current contest some weeks the rules are open to any editing and other weeks the contest uses PMC rules? It could be like the rally contest, the winner of the previous week chooses wether they want PMC rules or totally open editing.

Well now we're all getting a little off-topic, plus I think in DO's interest check thread for his comp someone mentioned doing something like the rally comp does, so he probably doesn't like the idea.

I haven't voted, not sure which one to select. I don't have TT, I would like to get it though. I do agree with what atlop said, there are too many competitions on at the moment.
I wasn't sure about starting the Drift Photomode Comp, but the first week seemed to go well. Then again, I am not sure about the second week. Doesn't look like there is much interest now.
I am not saying not to run it, I am just saying that it might not last. Then again it might. It looks as DO's comp is doing very well. 👍

Oh drift there is enough interest, it's just a quite hard theme so you have to be a lil' patient for the entries

You got that right... I really want to see more GT4/TT crossover shots, my comp is the only one than you enter those in every week.. Plus I think its awesome to see so much variety in one comp..
