If drifting...

... is it best to buy a steering wheel? I don't know yet. Because some a****** stole my steering wheel at my parent's restaurant. That was when I left it there over night.:grumpy:

Darn, because there's a steering wheel in Future Shop which is $129.99 and I don't want to spend that type of money for a wheel.

Lots actually prefer to drift with out the wheel. I find it much more enjoyable though when I do drift with my DFP than with the controller, but thats me.

For racing and high speed racing drifts, the wheel is great. Teaches you alot about minimal steering as well, so you get good with throttle and brake management to steer a car, rather than just going from steering lock to steering lock...

I would say get a wheel, though wait till you can find a good deal. I do recommend the DFP, as the 900 degree steering is nice. But its not needed, so you can wait till some crazy good deal happens, or one ends up in a pawn shop maybe.

Ok, because it gave me the idea of buying a wheel because there was a video shown on GT3 and his driving was smooth, mine's always to the limit. His acceleration was smooth, and I was thinking of switching my acceleration to the right analog.

Whats a good setting for the controller?

My R1 was switched to E-Brake so it'd make it easier for me to whip the back part of my car to the side.

I just use the default for my DS2 when I am using it. I've gotten to where I can control the throttle enough with the X button. And the issue with the joystick for gas and break is you can't do both at the same time then. But that could just be me :P

Ok Mr. Needs more grammar lessons.

I was away for a few days. Can you tell me about my grammar then? I read through it a few times and it seems clear to me.

Of course, I didn't go to much grammar school, so that could be the problem :dunce:

I answered your question. Actually a couple of them.
