Which would you pick, and which looks most realistic?

I am well aware that the convex rose should have a shadow being cast..

Artist's Statement:
One day, I had imagined this hot-looking rose that was a metallic plate, it'd be a logo of some sort. It was so exquisite that I was unable to put it down on paper, to communicate and share this idea. 3 weeks later or so, I finally managed to put something down, I must say that I almost completely forgotten the prototype idea that was floating in my mind becasue now this image - that doesn't match the ideal rose - has replaced it. The more I look at it, it inspires me to make an outline drawing of it as such the Baby Phat logo, which is a picture of a cat. Another inspiration was the intro vid of Midnight Club 2™, that Rockstar logo on that yellow S2000. It inspires me to make a logo similar to that, where the monza red in this case will become chrome and the rose will be carved holes on the chrome plate.
