If we made a list of things that could make Bspec better, can anyone here relay it..?

Ran out of title... Can anyone here relay it to PD or does someone that works there read this board regularly?

My thoughts on improvements:

Make it more "training" than it currently is. Make it where if you don't train Bob properly in the small races, he'll never be able to level up. The way it is now, I can put a brand new Bob in the FGT, let him race the Indy 500 all by himself and BAM! He's at level 20+!

Overtake could be split to overtake left, overtake right.

Don't have Bob pre-programmed to follow the line at all costs, have him actually learn from the commands we give him.

I think if they added a few minor changes, Bspec could become almost as fun as Aspec!

/oh, and I don't have time to edit this post with everyones ideas, so if this magically gets stickied, someone else will have to do so. :P

- Long-term commands
- Telling to pit in should be instant (no waiting for the next command)
- Auto driver changing when the strength falls below 5%.

How to make Bspec better? That's easy... just remove it from the game! ;)

That's the BEST idea / suggestion in the history of idea's and suggestions PERIOD..

B-Spec sucks sooo much it's like a turbo charged, industrial strength vacumn cleaner that can suck a baseball through a McDonalds straw.

👎👎👎

I remember playing GT4 for years and recall how crappy the B-Spec was at the time...

What I wouldn't give now to have it back.

-Speed up time

-Set a pace for the entire race

-B spec almost every race in the game

list goes on...

They don't need to do anything to B-spec. They need to get take it out of the game! B-spec is boring and is a waste of our ps3's. There is NOTHING you could do to B-spec to make it enjoyable playing! I hate every second my ps3 is playing B-spec! It's a waste of programming and valuable space on GT5 that could have been used for better. Think of all the time they wasted making that piece of junk! Think of what gt5 could have been if they spent that time in improving the game. Wouldn't you guys like more events, more customizations, more premium cars, more tracks, a more diverse course maker, possible livery editor other than stupid B-spec where you don't even control the car. I say get rid of it and give us more options and more content!

Few things that could improve it:

- as others already suggested here on the forums, give defend position command option, so he will really defend his position, instead of just letting others pass

- a hold position command, so Bob won't overtake stupidly anymore (for instance smashing the wall at the chicane at Monaco will be a thing of the past then)

- Bob should really learn from the mistakes he makes. Now he keeps crashing at the same spots over and over again, while after two times smashing into the wall under the same circumstances he should know how to prevent smashing into barriers at the same spot. So, let him really learn from his mistakes.

- After passing, let Bob accelerate faster, instead of giving the hard-fought position back to his rivals again... So, after winning a position, he should try to defend it immediately, no use in overtaking a car while giving back the position immediately (this is particularly frustrating at Monaco at the historic race car race).

- Finally, there is no use in getting all excited and hot-headed for lapping slower cars. Now if Bob is at the end of his physical strength and has to lap a slow car, he can easily crash and just hand victory to his rivals. That's crazy, shouldn't be possible.

These are the main points imho.:)

I agree with 50 BMG, combine gt4's b-spec mode with gt-5's b-spec mode and add the ability to properly train bob
oh and can we have some more credits for b-spec races , 249k fora 9 hr race
Really! really?

The B-spec drivers have know idea how to race on any of the oval tracks. When I did the Sport truck challenge both of my drivers would constantly stab the brakes mid corner losing tons of momentum. And my favorite is when they get the slightest nudge in the rear bumper they jam on the brakes and the whole field goes flying by and it takes 2 laps just to catch the draft again. After finishing anywhere from 9th to 12th about 50 times, i finally gave in and biult up the F-150 Lightning he was driving to over 650hp so he could get out in front and almost break away from the field to win. This is rediculous as I beat the same event in A-Spec with only 488hp and on stock tires and suspension etc., and I'm not that good a driver, still beat the 2nd place truck by 1/4 lap. it took 5 tries in B-Spec with moded out 650hp.
