To bring you the most enjoyable forums on the Internet, I want to ask you this question. Hopefully, your answers will make GTPlanet a better place for everyone!

If you were the webmaster of GTPlanet, and could change or add only one thing about any aspect of the site, what would it be?

Think about it long and hard! And remember, it has to be something realistic that can actually be done... :D

A chat room would be kinda cool, but couldn't be moderated:(
Me being Site Administrator/Owner would be really cool:lol:

I think that if the colors of the forums were like those of Gran Turismo Speed Forums that it would look better...

Possibly something like a warning system. Like, everyone(including moderators) gets 3 warnings, and after your third warning you're banned for 3 days. Then the next time it's more days. You'd get warned for breaking rules like no profane language...

I dunno, that's about all I can think of...:(
 
When that new pop up registration window comes up it should refresh the main window that was opened, to either the log-in or registration page, and not the pop-up window. The pop-up makes it so you have to drag the window inorder to increase its size. Actually, since I did not test to confirm that, the pop up window may not be able to be resized. And it took two clicks to get the log-in page to come up, but that might have been me. Oddly enough, after I decided to log out and try again on the main page, the pop-up did not come back.

I plan on removing the Express Registration pop-up. :)

Actually, this is already a feature. Click on "user cp", "Edit options", and then look for "Pop up a box when you receive a Private Message?". :)

Your "user cp" button doesn't show up anymore.
 
I would do the following to this site:


I would bust out Adobe Photoshop, Flash 5 (all of them i have mad skill in), and redesign most things. For example your menu on the main site i could really spiff up with Flash 5 mixed with some Adobe! I could get some phat new car pictures and splice them with great textography from Flash 5, it'd look great. Also, id make things interactable. Instead of your main news page, id use BLOGGER to do that. Contact me on AIM ("rapper j0hn" is my aim sn) or email me at jvanlerber@kc.rr.com and ill see what i can do, only if your interested though.
 
How about a date for when the original message was posted maybe under the Thread Starter name. That way we can till how old the Threads are?

I would like to see some freaking Gran Turismo 1 forums. I never play it anymore but i still have it on the old memory card. Im hooked on my GT3! I t would still be nice to see some GT1 forums ^ in here!

I think the main front page should really be spiffed up. The forums layout is so attractive, but you really could doa lot more with the header at the top of every page, and with the frontpage, IMHO.

No, really. Its just sort of plain...it seems like some of the sections don't match the rest of the page...I dunno.

I mean, for example, the GT3 section (not the forum, the section) looks nothing like the rest of the site. In my opinion something that makes a site good is when things match.

Know what I mean?
