If you delete decals..

So I've reached my 1000 limit of other peoples uploaded decals a few times. My question is if I have created a car using those particular decals and then delete them off my list. Will the car then lose the decals? Or because they're uploaded to GT Sport do they stay? I have had one instance of a car not loading decals. But idk whether that was due to me deleting the logo used or the creator deleted it. Apology's if the question has been asked already. But I couldn't find anything when I quickly scrolled through the thread.
