Illustrator Help?

I guess this would be the right area for my thread?

If you look at the above image, you can see that the dark background behind the white silhouette shows at the bottom and sides. They are both lined up correctly, if I zoom in and out, the area in which it appears changes (the top right side is fine). Is there a way around this? Why does it happen?

Any input would be great.
 
That could just be a rendering error, export it as a jpg or png and check if it's still there. Also use the alignment tools, see if that helps.

It does appear to be a rendering issue, I made a black box and copy/pasted it on top and changed to white and the same thing happened. Though it does sort of appear when exporting as an image, looks more like a dull shadow..
