Please remember me in your prayers today. I'm getting ready to head off to the air port on my way to California. Hopefully all will go well, but I'm still a little nervous about it.
oh! btw who's your beneficiary for gtp website ?? lol
On the other hand, if anyone even looks suspicious, start organizing an assault right away. Bum rushing is the way to go.
I'm in Carmel, right outside of Monterey (for the CART race at Laguna Seca!).If you see this, where are you in California?
Haha, unfortuantely I won't be headed down to LA on this trip. Awesome city, though. :thumbsup:cali ehh? need a ride?? let me know....ill be more than glad to pick u up!
Yes, the first of the race was brutal! My seats were on the main grandstand, in the first section near the last turn. I saw the wreck there (I can't remember the names of the drivers involved), and most spectacular - the Target team's big incident in the pits! It was directly across from me, and you could almost feel the heat from the explosion. Did they show that much on TV? On the screen at the track, they only showed the guys spraying water everywhere.Originally posted by ZeroCool85
Jordan:
That was a wicked first few laps with all those cautions.
Where were you when Servia crashed in the Andretti Hairbin?

But, I did get a spectacular shot of the gas spraying all over the car right before it caught on fire.
As for Servia's crash, I was standing over at the corkscrew, so I missed it. Of course, they announced it over the PA system, but by the time everyone had run to the top of the hill, the ambulance was already out on the track.
