I'm gonna need some help

I'm planning on getting the Driving Force GT less then a month from now (birthday)and I can get the G25, but I really don't care about the clutch, nor the H-Shifter so the GT is good enough for me, although I've heard that the pedals will make me wanna tie a noose around my neck, but I'll see in less then a month.

Anyways, since the GT isn't wireless, or at least since it has the clamp/attach thingy on the bottom of it, it'll be uncomfortable to have it lying on my lap for several hours so I'm gonna need a stand or table, but sadly every table in my house is in use, or is to big to fit the little space between my tv and bed.

That's where you guys come in, I need a stand or at least something that I can attach the GT to, but I just don't know what. Now I do have several requirements:

*It can't take up to much space, I'm gonna post pictures of my room to show the area I'm talking about.

*It can't cost me an arm and a leg, I've seen the rigs you guys have and I'm jealous. I'm willing to spend at least 100 bucks for this thing and make sure to keep this in mind, I'm 14, so that means no job for me. No source of income aside from an allowance and the luck of having a birthday so close to Christmas.

*All I need is something that the wheel can attach to. No seat since the bed will take care of that.

*Even though I have a very big room, my bed and drawers take up most of the space and I am not willing to rearrange my room over one game. Tempting, but no, so this part of the room is my only option unless my mom rearranges my room on November 1st :banghead:

*It has to be movable. My family is huge and full of little kids who will break this thing, so I wanna be able to once I'm done playing, move it to a corner of the room and hope that every time I go out, a kid doesn't come by and break it.

That's all I've got to work with. Not much, but it's something. Also, I am willing to build something...but it'll be have to be made out of wood or at least metal that doesn't require me to weld anything.

You should look at getting a wheelstand pro.
They fold up and take up little room
Here's their site http://www.wheelstandpro.com/
They are $149 but are meant to be quite good and for the amount of room you have it would be pretty good

Just think boxes with no ends, made of wood of course, clamp wheel to top of box, attach pedals to bottom inside of box, bob's your uncle.

Because your sitting on your bed your seating position will be quite upright, so you won't need to have the pedals too far away, plus your only 14, how big can a 14 year old be......

Then when you aren't using it just shove it into the corner, simples.

lol the kids 14, seems kind of complex to build that. I would say save\work\beg the extra 50 bucks and get the wheel stand pro.

Actually if given the blueprints I can actually build this. My brothers and father are great carpenters and have had a lot of experience in construction, and I've been taught a few things myself.

Although I forgot to mention that I can't buy stuff online. My brother is afraid of hackers although I can maybe save up the money, buy it online with his money and pay him back. Thanks a lot guys :)

Edit: I'm about 5 feet 7 inches, and for some reason in New York City that's pretty tall...anyways that is a good idea, yet the Wheel Stand Pro I can just put underneath my bed when I'm done.

Read his quote under his pictures. He said he's willing to build something that he doesn't have to weld, thats why I applied the link to that thread. The new one he might not have the skills/parts for but the first one that was all wooden doesn't look that hard, being 14 doesn't mean he's not mechanically inclined.

Tree'd
As I was typing this he said he could build this I started to say that he could get family members to help. Try PMing the guy to see if he could give you some specs.

That's what I'm going to do because like I said, my brothers and father have a lot of experience when it comes to carpentry and construction. They've even taught me a few things so we can build almost anything that doesn't require any welding. As far as PM'ing the guy, already done.

I'm doing the same design for my Fanatec GT3RS wheel. Holding the wheel with your legs is not something that you want to do. Will be using different 2x3 wood for the base so it can be a bit more heavier at the bottom and thus more stable.

Cool, I'll have to keep mine light but stable, since I'm gonna have to always move it around.

Also, the table that will be holding the G27 should be how many inches thick? I wanna make sure the clamps fit onto my stand.
