Impossible to play online multiplayer

Hey, first post.

Since moving house when I play online all the other cars move randomly from side to side occasionally. It makes it impossible to play as suddenly the other cars change position. Is this an internet problem? My internet is supposed to really good and works very fast for anything else, movies, downloads etc.

That's just bandwidth: how much information you can fit down a pipe at once. For online gaming the bandwidth is more or less irrelevant above a relatively low value; you're after latency: how long it takes to send information to a remote device and get it back again.

If you're not using a wired connection, wire it in. Then do all of this:

It is a known problem of GT7. Sports Mode Races work properly because they seperate ps4 and ps5 versions.
In open MP lobbys there is everywere this "tick tick tick" stutter/warp lag, because there ps4 and ps5 versions get mixed.
It is unplayable, dosnt matter how good your connection is.

Thanks guys, my LAN connection has not been working lately, hence why I was using Wi-Fi. I’ve got the LAN working now thanks to a static IP. Cheers!
