Nice drift settings div

I still have the wonders of figuring how LSDs work :D

I tried the settings on Midfield Raceway, and it seems to do the job pretty well. I have some questions:

Do you use the E-brake?
How do you drift?

It was hard for me to drift because it oversteered when the car was redlining. That means that I have to work on my drifting skills :P

i use a lot of Feint drift

some power drift

accelerator off

or jsut simple power over

Question: What course did you tune it on?

I tried to feint drift on Midfield Raceway on the first two corners, but after the first corner, it's a nightmare.

tokyo r246

lagune seca

special stage 5

apricot hill

trial moutain

those are my favourites

and if u had enough of off track experience u can always change the tire

try t2(super slick) or buy soem sporties

Well, overall, those are pretty good settings :)

I'll try to drift on those courses when I have time.

Good job :)

u know the big hairpin(??) on tokyo r246

i think its turn no 4 or 3

with my setup u can go 180° sideways and still get back straight for the next turn its really controllable (is this a word?)

this is more for a beginner type of drifter

easy to recover and very forgiving

Ah, that's why it was so hard for me to drift!

I'm so used to just controlling it, so when I used those settings, I was waiting for my senses to kick in and say, "CONTROL IT!", but it never did and when it did, it was too late. I guess it takes some time to adjust to them.

I'll try those settings on R246 right now, and see if I can get 180º sideways :D

I just drove the Impreza LM on Tokyo, and it responds a little bit sluggish without the E-brake, but you're right about the recovery. I hit the wall a couple of times, and it seems like that it can do a lot more if I pushed myself more.

How do you take the first corner that goes right? Feint? E-brake? Both?

i go for a feint but when i see that i dont have enough speed i just tap the e brake a bit

r u running on sim tire or t2's?

for urban race like tokyo and special stage xx : use sim tires

for all those road tracks (apricot , midfield, etc...) : t2's or t3's for better grip so you wont end up in the dirt on each drift

hmmm... i stink compared to evry1 here... u ppl know too much and i keep getting flown off... by the way, do you use a steering wheel? or do use a dualshock

FRs are challenging to drift, so it doesn't make everyone perfect. It takes a lot of practice, so just be patient when you drift. It'll come to you once you get the hang of it.

Most drifters who begin usually break down around this stage. Don't be those kind of people. Be strong and REPRESENT!

Drifter's pride lol :D

stupid trueno.. pists me off.. i tried setting.. 4 secs later i spin out. and i tried that drift guide, the rx7 setting that was on the bottom, i went to run and setting.. right after that straightaway on the right corner i fell into that ditch.. the car was so weak it couldnt come out of that little ditch!!

What course?

For the trueno, don't push it too hard. Try to feint drift the car so that the rear will spin out and then try to balance between the throttle/brake. Same with the FC. Or simply overpower and then balance the throttle/brake :)
