In the next GT game, what're some smaller, auto-culture related stuff you wanna see?

Let's talk about the little stuff for a change.

-Skins available for various cars based on their liveries in the Hot Wheels tie-ins, like the Aventador that has a carbon hood and Arancia Argos paint. Or, overall, skins related to other GT tie-in media cars, not just Hot Wheels.

-The return of the following: Andretti's Hudson, Senna's three racers, Leno's two cars, the blue SEMA Corvette C7, and at least some of the various tuner cars last seen in GT6, such as those from Amuse, Mugen, TRD, Nismo, etc. Plus, every SEMA/Pebble Peach winner if they don't already get into GT Sport via DLC, and the various Tokyo Auto Salon cars that PD selected for a temporary period, such as the D1GP RX-7 FC or that Toyota FT-86 Sports Concept. Plus various other cars closely connected with GT, namely the Toyota MTRC Concept, the 2007 JDM-spec GT-R R35 (in addition to the other two facelifted iterations, at the minimum), and maybe even some more particular models of cars that Kaz owns or has owned - I think he originally owned an R33 GT-R, though I'm unsure if it's was any particular trim like a Spec V. There was also that special 350Z that was sold at various dealerships, too, and more recently, there was that special-edition Nissan Juke that ties into GT, as well. I wouldn't even mind the return of the Nike One, either - *that's* the original VGT right there!

-In addition to the various paint colors, I wanna see more of the "misc." options you can get from an automaker, such as various stock rims, or the various stuff you can pick from in a Mini Cooper, like the Union Jack tail lights. Similarly, only letting you pick transmission options when you buy the car, and they reflect the real-world options on that model, and this option cannot be changed back-and-forth unless you can do it in the actual car (e.g. a semi-auto car that's mostly AT, but lets you switch to MT on the fly). This is especially so for automakers with tons of real-world options, like Lamborghini and McLaren, with the latter's MSO Bespoke program. Of course, for the sake of development, I think maybe only some of the most popular options could be put in, so that PD doesn't spend too much time integrating options that people likely won't use - but if it wouldn't take too long, I wouldn't complain if they actually put in a ton of these options...

-Combine the Gr.4 cars with the RM game mechanic - i.e., when you RM a car, it turns into its Gr.4 version. Similarly, maybe you could either buy a Gr.4 or tuner car as-is for a higher price, or you could take the stock version to a tuner and have them mod it for a little cheaper. That way, you pay more credits to have two cars available in the latter. Similarly, I'd retcon all the RMs and Touring Cars to be Gr.4 cars.

-A larger emphasis on making cars mechanically fun to use. By this, I mean being more involved with making neat features like KERS/DRS available as a game mechanic (rather than something passive that's left to the game to activate for you), consuming battery charge in hybrids/electric cars, but also launch/drift/sport modes, being able to tune AWD car power maps on the fly if available (NFS Payback does this with the new M5, I think), and further differentiating drivetrains, such as FR vs. FMR, and 4WD vs. AWD.

Focus more on car culture and less on VGTs.

JDMs, Hot Rods(when was the last time you saw a Hot Rod in this game series?), Drifters, Muscle cars, European Sports classics, classic rally cars and pro-tourers, hell maybe even some american land boats, and pre WWII era cars, why not?

Anything goes, except for the overused VGTs and same old Japanese cars.

I'd really love a walk around mode. They put so much detail into the interiors and such I would love to be able to walk around and open doors, hood maybe start the car. I think that could add a lot to the scapes mode too. Even if they buried it into scapes. That would be cool I was hoping they would have in GTS I just don't think it would happen

I'd argue the VGTs are part of car culture, though. But I think more and more cars in the groups you mentioned will come, especially with all the rumors that stuff like the Lancia 037 is coming. And I think they're doing a lot better on trimming the older JDM cars - I think only cars that offer something interesting should be included, like if they have a special story behind them (e.g. the special-edition R33 GT-R that commemorated Nissan entering Le Mans), or if they offer something interesting from a gameplay perspective. This is opposed to more minute differences, like minor year-by-year models.

Changing used car market.

As long as some more essential cars aren't locked behind it, I'd be perfectly OK with this. I think it'd be ideal for more "ordinary" cars, like various Skylines that aren't even GT-R trim. Although that said, I'd personally see if they could do something similar to how higher-end used cars are sold - overall, I don't want waiting for a list to cycle through to be the only option if you miss something. Maybe it could be good for getting some cars cheaper, that you could alternatively get at anytime at the dealership but for a higher price.

  • Toggle-able option in livery editor to have the floor of your back seats covered in empty fast food carryout bags and empty drink cups
  • Service/gas station VR mode where you can use the PS move controllers to control a vacuum cleaner wand
  • Your cars depreciate in value as they accumulate mileage and eventually just won't start when you are sitting on the grid

Just more car customisation. I kind of want these cars to me mine and a set of wheels and paint doesnt make it 'mine'.

I think GT6 and Forza are along the right path to making cars more customised to me.

That would be great fun as long as it wasn't your car that wouldn't start.
They are at total depreciation right now since any of the prize cars can not be sold, only deleted from your garage. It really makes the daily workout car uninspiring, I not sure how many Sambuses and Honda Project 2&4's I need.

Sounds like the auction house on Forza Horizon. Always find loads of DLC cars up for sale for dirt cheap (even though most can't buy them).

Mileage points are silly right now IMO. It's just another currency, for what? Seems like something you'd find in games with micro transactions, it's unnecessary.

Honest transmission tuning. Why do we have to resort to tricks to make it work best, just make it work correctly.

More livery options for diy and a better way of sharing them and showing them off.

More test and tuning abilities, like saving ghosts of certain tunes, or laps to compare changes

Incredibly minor detail, but spectators so hellbent on THAT PERFECT RACE SHOT they'll risk their safety and go on-track to get the shot they're looking for i.e. Costa di Amalfi and Grand Canyon (among other rally courses) from GT4.

You know what? They should try to represent all the main SEMA cars since that's their job isn't it? There are a few SEMA cars that are highly sought after by the community...
