Let's talk about the little stuff for a change.
-Skins available for various cars based on their liveries in the Hot Wheels tie-ins, like the Aventador that has a carbon hood and Arancia Argos paint. Or, overall, skins related to other GT tie-in media cars, not just Hot Wheels.
-The return of the following: Andretti's Hudson, Senna's three racers, Leno's two cars, the blue SEMA Corvette C7, and at least some of the various tuner cars last seen in GT6, such as those from Amuse, Mugen, TRD, Nismo, etc. Plus, every SEMA/Pebble Peach winner if they don't already get into GT Sport via DLC, and the various Tokyo Auto Salon cars that PD selected for a temporary period, such as the D1GP RX-7 FC or that Toyota FT-86 Sports Concept. Plus various other cars closely connected with GT, namely the Toyota MTRC Concept, the 2007 JDM-spec GT-R R35 (in addition to the other two facelifted iterations, at the minimum), and maybe even some more particular models of cars that Kaz owns or has owned - I think he originally owned an R33 GT-R, though I'm unsure if it's was any particular trim like a Spec V. There was also that special 350Z that was sold at various dealerships, too, and more recently, there was that special-edition Nissan Juke that ties into GT, as well. I wouldn't even mind the return of the Nike One, either - *that's* the original VGT right there!
-In addition to the various paint colors, I wanna see more of the "misc." options you can get from an automaker, such as various stock rims, or the various stuff you can pick from in a Mini Cooper, like the Union Jack tail lights. Similarly, only letting you pick transmission options when you buy the car, and they reflect the real-world options on that model, and this option cannot be changed back-and-forth unless you can do it in the actual car (e.g. a semi-auto car that's mostly AT, but lets you switch to MT on the fly). This is especially so for automakers with tons of real-world options, like Lamborghini and McLaren, with the latter's MSO Bespoke program. Of course, for the sake of development, I think maybe only some of the most popular options could be put in, so that PD doesn't spend too much time integrating options that people likely won't use - but if it wouldn't take too long, I wouldn't complain if they actually put in a ton of these options...
-Combine the Gr.4 cars with the RM game mechanic - i.e., when you RM a car, it turns into its Gr.4 version. Similarly, maybe you could either buy a Gr.4 or tuner car as-is for a higher price, or you could take the stock version to a tuner and have them mod it for a little cheaper. That way, you pay more credits to have two cars available in the latter. Similarly, I'd retcon all the RMs and Touring Cars to be Gr.4 cars.
-A larger emphasis on making cars mechanically fun to use. By this, I mean being more involved with making neat features like KERS/DRS available as a game mechanic (rather than something passive that's left to the game to activate for you), consuming battery charge in hybrids/electric cars, but also launch/drift/sport modes, being able to tune AWD car power maps on the fly if available (NFS Payback does this with the new M5, I think), and further differentiating drivetrains, such as FR vs. FMR, and 4WD vs. AWD.
