Incorrect Laptimes.

I have recently been going back and doing the Autolog to compete with some of my friends on my friends list and i've seen something fishy.

(I'm using this as an example)It seems that some of the times i have seen has only one lap counted as the overall time(couple of friends on my list),but the race is 2 laps.I've also noticed that the World Record has only on lap counted as well.It's not just limited to one track either.I have seen this all throughout the game.What is the deal with this?

Has anyone else encountered this?

I'm on the PS3 by the way.

Well that's good.I thought maybe i was seeing things.

I wonder if this will be addressed in the first patch?I'm not the fastest driver,but for those who are shooting for that world record this sorta thing is probably aggravating to them.

If I'm understanding your issue, I think that is intentional, and not a glitch.

When you're looking at the speed wall for that individual track, I think it is just showing you the best lap time on that track, regardless of which event it was run in. When you are on the screen for a particular event, it shows you the total time for that event.

Its the way I see it and it makes sense

I don't think it's intentional,i believe there is a bug of some sort or glitch.

One track that comes to mind is the Suzuka Track.The one where you win the Lotus.

The world record time is done running only 4 laps,when the race itself is 5 laps.

I thought you were comparing the best lap times on AutoLog speed wall to the best multi-lap event times.

He's right. I have one of my event times that only counted one lap. It's a pretty common glitch and they've said they're looking into fixing it.

yah i did the first race and its only count as 1 lap time in my autolog

Earlier today I saw the global record for one lap on the nordschleife is 3:28.06300, which is complete BS, so there are bugs that affect simple laptimes as well.

Especially when the real life record is twice as long as 3:28 !

That would explain a total time I had, I think it was 3:XX and when I tried again, I did a perfect run with the Radical car and I was short by "only 2 minutes"...

Well, this just happened to me last night. I don't remember which event, but it was one of the 2 lap D-level events. I got the #1 overall time among my Friends. I looked at my lap times, and it didn't even count my first lap, only my second one. So my overall event time was the time for my 2nd lap only. Too bad that lap sucked!

But, justice was served by another glitch because I didn't receive my bonus money anyway!

Hopefully in the next 2 weeks these small problems will be fixed.

I'm looking forward to that first patch.
