Gran Turismo, has to be more than ripping around race tracks. I love GT, the cars the detail to handling, the fine tuning elements.
I have found the limits of GT seems to be in the structure of the races, and types of races.
In GT6 I tried the 'Luna rover' challenge, and the only thing I could think of, other than how good the lavish scenery and views were , was this could be the first step to having the Dakar rally in the game.
The Dakar no longer exists...
GT is beginning to hold tributes to race drivers, taking us back in time to feel their thrills, the same can be done for tracks the, for whatever reason, cannot be raced anymore.
It would be brilliant to have this track/route in the game.
As well as the newer Rally Raid, held throughout South America.
The Luna Rover proves that it is possible, point to point races require a certain amount of skill to excel. Plus it is much more than lapping a track.
The Pikes Peak hill climb, old and new. We had the hill climb in GT2, it was challenging but fantastic.
Now GT is packing the game with Extreme performance cars, I'm guessing built for such things as the Pikes Peak. We want it in our game...
Point to point races, whether this is a fictitious or GPS accurate, storming the roads would be awesome.
I found it quite amusing to see a game dedicated to the Gumball, if it is a track or route, then hell yeah, let's bring it. Racing between cities, well, if it can be done with the GPS fantastic! If not, then how about something that resembles a "Top Gear" like race/route across continents or between cities.
Paying for DLC I know a lot of people don't like, but for this kind of expansion I would happily pay the asking price.
