This is far from a science but as we are a pretty big melting pot here at GTPlanet we are all learning about different ways the game is being promoted and how it's resonating with certain people.

For instance, if I was in France I'd be pretty happy as they got a lot of the more common cool cars like the Clio's etc. But if I was in Germany I might be "Meh", as there are few newer models of premium brands. The US got their Mustangs, Vets, Viper, and Camaros (not the ZL1 :/) but German cars are far more popular here it seems...

Have some fun with this, use it for context if it applies.

If you already have the game simply select a category to express your satisfaction and explain below.

Mods feel free to merge if you feel its appropriate.

So far I'm please with what I've seen. I still haven't played it yet as many, but it's still Gran Turismo, and that's what I love about it.

Wait until we start getting DLC and patches that will fix the things we're not happy with. Things will get even better.

I'll be honest
i havent read a single thing about it because i want to be surprised and I also don't want to be jealous of those who have it ;p

but I voted Other - Pleased

I was stoked when I learned of the early release in the Middle East but as the excitement settled, I'm less excited than I've been for months.

I chose "Eastern Europe - Pleased" 'cause I'm from Eastern Europe and I freakin' love Gran Turismo.
Bbut I want to see some Polish cars like Fiat 125p -the one that Sobiesław Zasada won Monte Carlo Rally. In Poland we call it Duży Fiat (Big Fiat).
and Syrena Sport - concept car way ahead of it's time.
Fiat 126p (Mały Fiat) was also popular (in Brasil too) and FSO Polonez, which Clarkson described as "The Horror" :)
Here's some photos:

I would say I am pleased with what I have heard so far, I am really more interested in online play and a leaderboard system than in A-Spec/B-Spec so still more to know but the game is near so will find out soon enough.

I hope that there are some pleasant surprises in store for the online lobbies and that a few of the tracks I liked in GT4 will return as early DLC.

Pretty pleased here. Have a decent amount of new cars, tracks, and features. But there's nothing the really wows me yet. I'll just have to wait I guess.

From a brit's point of view I'm very happy to see Brands Hatch(Indy especially!) and GoodWood and for me Bathurst and Ascari aswell, still lacks british classic's,older Astons,Jag road cars,MG's,Lotus Cortina etc. but I understand these can be hard to get a hold of.

Not only is it yet another poll, but I think this set a new record for shortest number of posts until it turned into a wishlist.

This, friends, is what we call a double-whammy.

LOL!

Never going to happen. I know they are near and dear to Polish people but they were terrible cars.

Nice poll will be interesting to see the results per region, is there an option to revote? When the game eventually comes out people will change their opinion ;)

I'm underwhelmed (quite a lot actually).

Americas - Pleased here. It's definitely shaping up to be a great improvement over GT5, though I hope that the mild hype train I'm on doesn't crash and burn. I'll see next week!

Im satisfied because of the new Mustangs and SLS GT3. The '07 GT is automatic and wasnt a good rep for the brand. Im loving the classic cars(Ferrari, El Camino, Trans Am, etc.) additions to GT6. My real car is finally in the game and more World circuits with time change for the win. I'm all about the cars and getting to see them in replays. I'll hold judgement about a few niggles until the patch. Overall at this stage, I'm satisfied qith what Ive seen.

I'm pretty pleased actually. I wish I've haven't read the leaks but couldn't help it, I'm just excited for GT6, the cars, tracks, new physics, features and the fact that the standard cars have been cleaned up. It's looking like to be a great improvement over GT5, no doubt, and because its Gran Turismo. I so look forward to what the Day 1 patch contains, and watch GT6 become a better game through months of DLC as well updates.

Pretty underwhelmed, and will be the first GT I don't buy new. Although it has a fair few plus points going for it, the Technical issues like no light from AI cars at night and the flickering shadows (I haven't seen conformation if it had been fixed) coupled with lack of features at release are what's stopping me from purchasing. IF these are fixed/improved, I may buy it.

I was also a bit taken back by the night replays. I think this will be patched to at least GT 5 standard as it really ruins night replays and even gameplay as the cars seem to come out of the shadows at night.

This would strike me as something that would bother Kaz significantly.

Okay. I've changed my mind a bit regarding my previous post in this thread.

I have to be very honest. I am one of of those who is really excited about the game no matter what, but after all this leaked information, I've been finding a lot of negative details in the game. I really hope all these things get sorted out in the Day 1 patch, but I have a feeling they might not.

I know I tend to repeat myself a lot around threads, but I just do it hoping that maybe PD would by any chance come across the forum and read some of the feedback.

These are a few negative things I noticed. Mostly related with sounds (of course):

-I noticed many cars that sounded wrong in GT5, still have the same sound. An example would be the Aventador, and I can also bet the other Lambos (except for the Gallardo) sound equally wrong. This doesn't give me hope for other cars that were wrong in GT5. I can bet they will sound the same.

-The Ferrari 365GTB4 has the same sample than the 512BB and this is making it very obvious that PD hasn't worked on sounds at all, they are just recycling and copy-pasting sounds in new cars. Not only that but the tachometer and speedometer in this car are mixed up.

-The Huayra's sound (I've said it many times. Sorry) is just plain wrong...

-A.I doesn't seem to be braking at the middle of the turn, which is good, but I've seen enough videos now of the player beating all the A.I cars within the first lap. So A.I definitely needs more guts.

-The car list was a bit embarrassing to watch. Mostly when browsing Japanese manufacturers. Those repetitions need to go and get replaced with one premium version of that car. If not, at least replaced with one of those fancy standards with premium exterior like the Rufs.

As for positive things:

-Very nice menu! This is something I didn't care for, but I'm very impressed.
-Menu music is fantastic. Feels like the old PS1 GT's for some reason.
-Wing delete!
-Wheel size options.
-New purchasable paint.
-And other things like physics and all those technical things we already know.

It's too soon to be too hard on the game since the game shouldn't even be played right now. But we'll see once the rest of us get the game. I think the bad things happening with GT6 right now are minor and can easily be patched if PD really wants to.
