There are basically 2 kind of players, the racing and drifting kind of players. This will be for the racing kind, the racing kind of player can be spilt in 2 groups as well, time trails and online racers. The minority chooses to do 1 of the 2. I love to do both and can get great pleasure out of both. But to compete in great online races i need a lot of laps on my belt to compete on the level i want and can. For that reason, you will never see me doing online shuffle races. During the Seasonal TT's i can accomplish good times but like i said i need a lot of laps for it. After all those hours alone on the track i want to use that knowledge during online races. And with some of you who also put in a lot of hours during the TT's, can turnout in epic races.
So the question is. Who is wants to race the seasonal event TT's online?
If there are enough people who would like to race online, i will work further on a racing topic.
Only answer if you want too. Start with a YES! and if you want to leave a comment as well, do so. But if your not interested just leave the topic for what it is.
Thank you

EDIT/Up-date 26 january
I see some positive reactions that's good to hear, i also see some talk about the WRS and some talk about the current seasonal event. as on online race. Let me answer some of the questions and clear something up and explain a bit more
First of all i'm happy to see some positive reactions, that's great 👍
This has nothing to do with WRS and there will be no leader board. There are several leader boards for the TT. The official gran turismo site, mygranturismo and you can look at the leader board on your Playstation. Thinks that's enough. This leader board is a great starting point of the level your racing that specific TT. So matching people of the same level is easy, that way. So when there will be a larger crowed that show up for an online race then the lobby can handle we can spilt the group up by the result of the TT. Therefor i want to race online after the events ends. Me personally will be doing most of my online racing on saturday night. Meaning that tonight i will race online the previous TT, on Motegi with the Supra. So not the current. Like i said above " But to compete in great online races i need a lot of laps on my belt to compete on the level i want and can" And that counts for more people. Practice makes perfect (for everybody on his own level off course)
My idea of this all is basically, creating a hang out for people who wants to race online after having some practice under there belt (or a lot, in my case if i really enjoy the combo). Don't want to start with making it to complicate at first. Just having short online races and having a chat with each other in between the races. But one thing, the races must be clean, i love to joke but when the lights go off i'm a hole different person and there to do some serious racing. When this turns out to be a success i want to extent it with a monthly enduro of a seasonal TT. The enduro races will be more serious. But let's see how this all turns out.
I said i will be racing online tonight (can't tell you exactly how late yet but once i know i will post it) on Motegi with the Supra. Because of the amount of people who can show up, it's impossible to have everyone in your friendlist. Therefore i will open a open lobby so everybody can join. I will post more detail about the lobby later tonight once open.
The lobby setting for tonight will be up later. But we will do 6 lap races and one thing, the tire wear will be turned off for the short races. So there will be no interfering with the tire wear. So you can go flat-out all the way. You see the tires drop after about 3 or 4 laps. One can handle them better then others. One tune cost you more tire wear then others specially TT tunes can cost you a lot of tire wear. But once we reach the point we will do enduro's this will definitely be turned on. And there is still a bit of change in the physics between offline and online. With the tire wear off the physics match the seasonal physics more then with the tire wear on. And i want the short races to be more accessible for everybody. Meaning you can jump in the lobby for only a few races or longer and if you want to have a break, that's possible too. Because the races will take about 10 to 12 minutes. So if you (re)join the lobby, you don't have to wait long to join a race.
I hope you guys understand more what my meaning of al of this is.
What do you guys think?
And is there any interest of a monthly enduro?
