international b licence help needed

hi guys, i'm new to the forum and have had a look round but havent been able to find what i'm looking for so if there is a topic about all this then my apologies, link me and lock please mods...

okay, i've got mostly golds in GT4 IB licence and it hasn't been easy for me using a joy pad as i cant cant vary the power and breaking (i assume power and breaking can be varied with a wheel?), so anyways, its taken me a week but i'm stuck on 3 courses and cant get the golds to unlock the Jensen, (were talking about 100th of a sec in 1 case) which is all i care about, i couldn't careless for the golds themselves, so can anyone please tell me if there is a cheat or secret handshake or whatever that will get me the car?

There's no cheats or secrets in any GT game - never have been.

If you want to cheat, you have to get a specific cheat cartridge (Action Replay or suchlike). You can also get gamesaves which already have the licences done.


Also, you can vary the accelerator, braking and steering with the DualShock2 - though not necessarily with the same degree of finesse as you can with a wheel. The trophy on top of my living room cabinet says a pad doesn't automatically hold you back...

You need a product like the Action Replay Max to get those codes. I bought one a couple of months back to clean up memory cards and all the codes are pre-loaded in there already. Just check the cheats you want, load the game with the cheats and voila, game ready.

For me personally, just getting the max money cheat was enough (which is 4.5 QUINTILLION dollars just to let you know!!). 👍 And maybe use the licence cheat to allow yourself easy access to all the basic races.

Exactly. And as far as I'm concerned, there shouldn't be. This game is meant to be a challenge, and cheats take away from that.

good point, GT4 should be a challenge, I even hate to B-SPEC alot of the time because it takes alot of the fun and challenge out of it.

Would not this take the fun and challenge out of GT4.
Because you would have too much money and just buy every up-grade you can for the car and kill the competition.?
