Hello everybody!
I have decided that I would like to host a drifting competition. It will take place at tsukuba circuit. The competition welcomes all nations, though you must be able to speak clear English. it would have if you have a headset too but if not, don't worry
If you are interested in participating, please read ALL of this post, it is important
I will be hosting, my PSN is SmileyGuy5. The server/game room will be called IJDC 2012 and the password will be drift123 If you are not on the drifters/judges list, you will be kicked

Judges
Ok so there will be 3 judges; me and 2 other people. If you would like to be a judge you must have some form of communication with me (eg. xfire, skype, youtube.) To apply, please reply to this topic like this:
I would like to apply for Judge. My PSN/Play Station ID is (PSN here) and i can communicate with you via (communication here).
or something like that. Just as long as it states your PSN and communication and is clear that you want to be a judge.
Judges will not be drifting in the competition
Current judges:
1. Me
2. Free Slot
3. Free Slot
Judges will give you a score out of 10
Judging will be based on:
1. Speed (The faster you drift, the higher the score)
2. Angle (The more angle the higher the score)
3. Movement (The tidier, more fluid and smoother the higher the score)
Judges will sit at the edge of the corner to watch each drifter

Rules & Regulations
Your car must be Japanese. It can either be FR (front engine, rear wheel drive) or 4WD. It must have at least 400hp. The tires you use can be either Comfort Soft, Comfort Medium or Comfort Hard. Your car must be road legal (no race modifications.etc) During the drift, only the rear wheels are allowed to slide, not the front. Otherwise it is not drifting, it is power sliding.
You must be using a controller to make it fair.

The prizes will be supplied by me and will be as follows:
1st Place: Amuze Carbo R (R34) '04
2nd Place: Caterham Seven Fireblade '02
3rd Place: Amuse S200 GT1 '04

Que Zone: Where you will que up waiting to drift
Start Zone: Where the next player to drift starts
Drift Zone: The corner you will drift round
Finnish Zone: Where you will finnish your drift.
Return Route: Where you will go to get to the pits and wait until given further instructions

The event will take place October 6th 2012 at 12:00pm standard UK time

If you would like to enter the competition as a drifter please leave a reply clearly saying you would like to enter and what your PSN is.
There will be 9 drifters

When you drift the 3 judges will give you a score out of 10. At the end, your score will be added up into one big total. The 3 people with the highest scores will be the winners

At the start, there will be 10 minutes for practice while we wait for everybody to come on.
When the 10 minutes are up the competition will begin. The earlier you come on, the more practice you can get and the better you can tune your car.

By the way I may also take some screenshots and post them with the results on youtube. I may or may not, ill see how it goes.

I take offense to when it says the front tires cant slide or else its a powerslide
