Ok another prob i've had is low fps...Now the weird thing about it is when I started in the legends everything was fine. It was around 50 to 60 fps. Then I got to street stock and it was ok for awhile but 1 day it dropped low and I mean looow into the 30's to 20's. I messed with the graphics and got it back to the 40's but it still seems not good enough. What do I do?

You do realize that you have the whole iRacing's hardware forum to your disposal, where there's a considerable amount of very knowledgeable guys willing to help you out, yet you're asking for help on a GT5 forum, where only a handful of members are iRacers?

I just can't understand the logic behind it... There's entire threads of iRacing graphics optimizations there.

Not to mention that it is impossible to help you since you gave absolutely no details about your computer or iRacing settings.

I am computer illiterate for the most part! LOL

Please post your specs and someone here can help you. Also check out the optimization threads in the iracing forum.

Have you updated your graphic drivers? Did you change any of your graphic settings that might have caused your FPS to drop? A problem with your CPU or GPU temps? could be many things...

good luck!

This. The iRacing forum holds the answer to nearly any question you may have, and it seems like very few of our members care to use it.

give a man a fish, teach a man to fish, tomato, tomato. ;)

Hey guys i'm just trying to figure things out. I figured this was an iracing forum on gtplanet maybe I could get help from here...then the 1st guy to respond had to be a total a** about it...

The difference is probably pretty simple. When you switched to Street Stocks it was probably on a bigger track. More complex tracks eat up more FPS, so if your system specs aren't fairly high end, you are going to have to turn down some graphics options on the bigger tracks.
