I've tried several times to do it but my best is seven laps in just short of 25 mins. Just qurious to know if someone ever managed to pass the finish line in order to do a eighth lap? If so, how did you do it (low fuel consumption and fewer stops or flat out opting for speed)? What car?

Thanks for your input. Cheers!

What laptimes are you doing

I don't think it's possible unless you're running a race without tire/fuel wear, then you can get eight laps in.

It depends if I aim for going flat out or trying to save fuel and pit less often. I don't remember exactly but maybe 3:15 in the C60.

If 3:15 is your fastest without pitting and you ran it every lap, you'd complete 7 laps in 22:45. Since you'd likely need to pit, and that would knock about what, 30 to 40 seconds off? If you pitted on lap 7, then theoretically you could attempt to start the 8th lap with about 15 seconds left. Still, if 3:15 is the best you can do it might be very hard to get more than 7 laps, especially if you need to pit.

According to this, @GTsail290 has done it. 👍

Also, if you use the +Quote &/or Edit buttons you don't need to make 2 posts straight after each other, which is frowned upon. :)

I nearly got it right on my calculations. Of course if the user is driving the C60, it might be a lot harder than using the Tomahawk.

Interesting! I haven't really tried those fantasy cars that much. I guess they don't have to pit very often? In the C60, which I found to be the fastest, you need to stop every second lap.

Thanks for the input!

You could try the Chaparral 2X VGT car, that worked for me and I have a tune for it in my garage.

I took an electric car into an "endurance" race and when the battery ran down and the first pit stop was needed, the car just stayed in the pits without the battery being charged. I'm not sure if it was the 2X or if it would apply to the 2X, but this may be an issue.

Try the Chapparal 2X, i had 8 laps with that, but that damn Peugot got on my nerves, with the 2J
