PlayStation Plus is required for online multiplayer in all games that are not free-to-play.I just finished (right now) to play daily race but for sure had no ps plus subscription. Is it a bug or a feature?
"Free-to-play" refers to a game that costs nothing to buy, such as Call of Duty Warzone and Fortnite.so has sport mode became free to play mode?
It is not sufficient that an account with active PS Plus subscription is stored on the console memory for sign in.Be aware that you only need one PS Plus subscription on any account on the console you're using in order for all other accounts on that console to benefit from it. You don't need one subscription per account.
Yes, I've already stated that a few dozen times around the site...It is not sufficient that an account with active PS Plus subscription is stored on the console memory for sign in.
You need an account with subscription that has the console you are playing at designated as primary console.
One single account can designate a PS4 and a different PS5.
This will also allow any games that have been bought on the Playstation store (by this account) to be playable for any other person on the console.
The PS Plus subscription covers all games and all accounts on one console (you will need to activate the console as your primary device).
So long as any one account on a given console has a PS Plus subscription (for online multiplayer) and that console is set as that account's Primary console, every other account on that console will be able to access the PS Plus benefits: online multiplayer, play any of the free games the Primary account has downloaded, etc.
Any account accessed on a console which already has an account with PS Plus with that console set as the Primary device can also use the online multiplayer portion of PS Plus without needing a separate subscription.
