Is every saved and applied livery automatically applied to gallery?

I've noticed that some people have many liveries created that they are using, but don't have anything in their gallery (on their profile page). Whereas, when I create a livery, it goes straight to my gallery.

For example, I've tried to make a suit livery without adding to my gallery and couldn't do it.

When you save your livery, you have the choice to apply it or not.

If you don’t apply, then the livery only exist in the editor.

If you apply, then the game create an « image » of your current livery.
Please note that when you save a livery in the editor, it overwrites the previous one, whereas when you apply a livery you already have, it create a new image each time.

Then you have the option to share it. It is only when you share a livery that other people can see it on your profile.

So you can have 1 or 2 liveries in the editor (original and a duplicate backup save), 10 in your gallery (if you apply each time so you can see it outside the editor), and 0 on your public profile (until you think it is ready enough to be shared).

It gives me a prompt saying do you want to upload the livery (and provides a checkbox to apply the livery), but if I don't click yes it says failed to upload.

How can i make a new livery (say for example just changing the color of my car) and apply it to my car without it going on to my public profile?

Oookay, so that would explain why others have so few in their gallery (for example, liveries created: 40, gallery: 3) whereas for me it is liveries created: 10, gallery: 10.

That makes perfect sense! As you may know I always find little things to concern about just my nature..
