Is FGT championship meant to be so easy in B-Spec

I can win the 1st two races, then my driver gets stupid... any tip?

Here's how I won:

First of all, give your FGT an oil change and racing softs. Racing mediums will do.

Fuji Speedway - Set gear ratios high, Bob will be doing around 230mph on the main straight compared to the AI which will only reach 217mph.

Indy Road Course - Similar to Fuji, keep the gear ratios high. It's possible to finish the race without having to pit.

Cote d'Azur a.k.a Monaco GP - Low gear ratios, to around 180mph. Bob tends to clip the walls and spin out once in a while, but the AI will do the same so the best way to win it is through luck and good pacing.

Nurburgring GP - Bob and his AI friends sometime spin out on the final chicane. To stop this, keep pace below 75%. 200mph gear ratios will do.

Monza - Maximum pace all the way with very high gear ratios (similar to Fuji). Bob and the AI will pit 3-4 laps before the end of the race.

Suzuka - Pull away quickly so Bob can pit and re-enter the field in 1st place.

It's much easier in B-Spec than A-spec and my bob is only rank 22. Do you guys find it the same?

My level 23 Bob won the 37-lap Fuji race on the first attempt on default settings and hard racing tires. Bob pitted at lap 31, rejoined the race still on 1st.

We will try to win the 2nd FGT race tonight hopefully with the same default settings and hard racing tires.

Did this with my L40 Bob and he won the first 5 races easily but in the last race he must have spun off 2 or 3 times on every single lap

...won the Indy Road Course by more than a minute, pitted at lap 30 and rejoined the race way way up in 1st. Only setting change was the transmission top speed to 370 kph for high speed at the end of the straightway to enable overtaking on the first turn.

Its easy if your driver can drive.
On the Nurburgring my driver consistently tried (and failed) to take what I belive is called the Schumacher S flat out, and ended up spinning in the gravel on the outside.

He did something simmilar at Suzuka, completely ignoring the track boundaries through 130R almost every single lap.
Also had a habit of hitting the inside wall on the first part of the chicane after the unnel at Monaco, spinning out and causing carnage with the computers behind.

Yeah, in B-Spec, it is SO easy it's almost ridiculous.

I did the whole Championship without even ANY coaching. I just started the race and watched movies while it was running. I was first almost at every race in the 1st lap and I was able to lap a few of those FGTs.

Easy stuff IMO!

Same here. It helps you can tune your FGT to be quicker than the AI then its simply a case of start and forget dear ol'bob.

This race proved quite easy. I won the overall championship with no obstacles (even though I believe I finished second on one of the races - my B-Spec driver is level 36). The prize car was a remarkable disappointment though. Tsk tsk for making me spend almost 6 hours PD.

i find if i monitor my bob till he gets himself into the lead, its good to go
but im amazed how much i needed to baby-sit on Cote-D'Azure and Suzuka..... sometimes bob i swear i want to fire you:grumpy:👎:dunce:

i agree, it was worth it overall for the prize money and xp, but the car sucked :yuck: , like alot of the b-spec prize cars

Is a prize car worth doing the unregulated endurance races with as you won't have a X series car. when you start. tune it to the max before racing. This means you don't have to put the Endurance miles on another car you were driving.
Being a Motor Bike in a body shell is great, its low weight means Tire wear use is double the life of a normal 1000kg+ car and drivers stay out longer. so drivers in the pit lane will fully recharge as well.

Also used in the timetrial seasonal in the kart space buy a lot of people.
