Is it just me?

Yes, but this has nothing to do with drifting directly and could've been answered if you could be bothered to look in the GT5 forum.

You saying grip has nothing to do with drifting?

The effects of tyres are definitely a huge part of drifting sorry Drifterz[/B. The tyres grip has been discussed before but not in relation to drifting, which as you should know is very different from tyre grip effects in racing.

I actually was thinking yesterday i could really rip up the Soft racing tires.

Normally they would grip and not stop gripping. Now i actually could do a burnout with them.

Not more grip i think, just a new way to implement the slipping factor.
Like they said, the tc is also influencing this. 👍

He's not sparking a debate though, he's just asking for an answer and nothing more.

I noticed this yesterday and the hard compound feels great but when the grip does come the car tends to snap. I'm starting to use a little more throttle control than before (rather than just flat out 70% of the time), it does feel different and in some ways better, not to sure though I've not really played that much.

I notices after the update but drifting CS actually feels a bit more slippery.

Definitely. Yesterday drifted with ch then went to cs in your room and it was a fairly smooth transition. I remember a much bigger difference between the tires.

Maybe they've noticed the CS hate and the CH love. Maybe they've tried to meet in the middle on what they consider the best drift tire, which to PD, is and always has been CS.
