A-8 is also impossible to beat for me. Bronze! 0.285 sec from the second and first car.

:)

Same here, I did find that video, and the driver is definatly using ABS!!! you can see him brake full force all the time, without ABS, this is NOT possible. Furthermore, he might even be using standard instead of professional and, what is more, some TCS too!!!!!

I really find it hard to believe that that event can be WON without any aids, this means, no ABS, no TCS, no ASM, professional, steering on normal!

If someone has i'm sure they'd have saved the replay, in which case...were is the video :)

Also, I think that the rival cars all have ABS ON!!!!

I can only do A-8 on Standard settings but can't do it on Professional and I'll give a cookie to who ever can.

Even still, you need patience...and I cheated by using the pit lane on the first corner cutting most of the first 2-3 corners straight off, should put you infront of the F40 before the first hairpin. Well, thats how I did it anyway.

I honestly thought that it was not possible but i have been trying for about an hour now to get gold and i have finally done it:) I must admitt that i cut a few corners(the chicane) and used some of the other cars to help me around the corners. I don't think it can be done otherwise to be honest.

I also did it a few hours ago. I must confess though that I did it on standard physics, and it wasn't exactly a clean run. I didn't ram them intentionally to gain an advantage, but there was some action going on. With some more tries and a bit of luck, I think I can get it reasonably clean (you'll always have some AI contact) as well though. No aids involved, just ABS set to 1. :)

This one had me beat too so had to cheat and switch to standard.

I feel so dirty !!!

Just couldn't seem to get enough feeling for the braking in the 430. It doesn't seem to want to slow down :nervous:

I drive with the normal gamepad, and I find professional alot more difficult than when I used a G25 at a friends place. But in my defense despite using standard settings I don't use ABS, ASM, TCS or active steering. It took me a while but I was able to crack it without intentional ramming. Though due to daft AI's some ramming can't be avoided. Did not use the pitlane, and the times I cut some corners a bit, it was to avoid the daft AI's. Though cutting, and especially if you hit some gras, cutting doesn't help you with ASM, TCS and abs of. In my opinion it screws you over big time.

This is how I do it on standard settings http://youtube.com/watch?v=sqFmmvrmgCo. I wasn't aware you could go through the pits, so that's probably faster, but I like my way. It's become a habit. Still though, I hate doing it over and over again, so I just do like 100.000cr at a time, and the F2007 will be mine before summer sometime. I don't care. I just bought the Blitz Skyline and will buy many more cars before I go for the big slice of F1.

Watched your vid, alltough it's what I would call cheating, it makes a good point for people fed up with not getting it right. Not a big fan of ramming with intent and such extreme corner cutting, which I don't like to do myself, even if the game allows it.

I'm soooo fed up with A-8. I can get up to 7th place before the chicane but always spin out wildly once I hit it due to the grass. If I can pay someone to get me bronze, I would. This has been ongoing for 3 weeks. I haven't even earned much credit due to always resetting if I mess up. Auuugh.

I am solid gold on all events, so this is not an impossible race. I will go back and race it again and let you know any tips I might have. Good luck.
