Is it possible???

I was just wondering if it is possible to drift with racing softs? if so, How much HP would you need to kick the back end out?

You can, but it's unrealistic and it will never look as good as drifting in comfort hards or mediums. Plus you won't get as much angle with comforts and you won't be able to hold the drift for long.

I can drift an F430 with RS but I can't drift a 251hp Mazda RX-8 with CS tires

That's hy I use CH tires

Drifting is about the "loss of grip", just an FYI. Why would you want to add more? The only time I could see someone doing this (and still not with RS tyres) is if your a new wheel drifter that's trying to get the hang of things. I found it a little easier to learn on CS just so that I had a bit more traction and didn't slide out everywhere. Now is CH all the way. I love little to no grip.

I was with a guy who used a maxed out MP4-12C on RS tires and it was hilarious to watch. By the time I reachd the first corner he was half way up the S's of Suzuka.
