I bought a GT3RS shortly after GT5 came out and have enjoyed them both since. I'm only playing GT5 sparingly lately, but may begin playing more. I have an XBox located in another area of the house that I could move when needed if I decide to use it for Forza 4. However I don't have a wheel that I can use with Forza. I definitely won't bother playing with a game pad. It just doesn't feel like driving.
I'm trying to decide if I should sell my GT3RS wheel and replace it with a CSR Elite or CSR. I'd keep my CS pedals as I believe they'll still work. I doubt I'd get alot for a used wheel, so depending which wheel I got I'm looking at 200-400$ or more for a new wheel. I'm having trouble deciding whether it's worth it.
The other issue is that the Xbox is upstairs and I sim race downstairs in my home theater. I use the Xbox as a Media Center and the kids use it for gaming where it's now located. So I'd basically have to move it regularly to use it for racing or buy another one.
I have no experience playing Forza and I'm not sure whether it will be worth the expense and effort to do it. Are the physics close enough to GT5 that I will still enjoy it. I tried Shift and really tired of that quickly. Didn't feel like a sim at all. I'm worried I'll go to alot of effort and expense then be dissapointed by Forza 4.
