I was wondering if it is worth buying GT5p for £9.99 if GT5 comes out in Autumn?

Absolutely! The game will still give you 6-10 hours of gameplay if you're going for all gold. I've been playing it more or less since it came out and I'm still far from sick of it.

how good is the online?

Online depends on the level/race you choose.

Expert level races means fewer cheaters and crashers/punters usually.

The online races change on the last Thursday of each month.
